Draft Rankings

By position. I'll try to put this in a different way, with more of how I think the players are ranked, rather then in what order will they be selected during the draft. I have a simple system to compare ratings, in which an A+ is a 1, A is 2, A- is 3, and so on. They are added together, so the lower the total, the better. (Potential)

Point Guard
1) Lorenzo Ellis - 30(B)
2) Mason Mercer - 29(C)
3) Alvin Shenk - 32(C)
4) Josh Parker - 33(D)
5) Troy Havlicek - 34(C)
6) Nat Van Exel - 36(B)
7) Eddie Crotty - 34(C)
8) Cody Newman - 37(B)
9) Nate Lovelette - 37(B)
10) Andres Gervin - 38(A)

Easily the deepest position in this draft. There are Ellis and Mercer, who will become great point guards in the SSBA. They are followed by group of very solid players, borderline average starters to excellent back-ups.

Shooting Guard
1) Garrett Pettit - 30(A)
2) Ladon Curry - 32(D)
3) Bob Diddle - 35(B)
4) Phillip Meyers - 36(A)
5) Broderick Luisetti - 36(D)
6) Jacquez Collier - 36(F)
7) Ronald Conradt - 36(F)

Pettit is sure to become a superstar. Curry and Diddle will be good role players and capable starters. If Meyers improves enough, he may be a good enough starter.

Small Forward
1) Ethan Terpening - 31(D)
2) Jamal Del Negro - 37(A)
3) Hayden Strickland - 36(B)
4) Bradley Bee - 38(A)
5) Brent McLendon - 38(B)

Terpening is will be a good player to have starting at SF. Don't expect improvement or stardom, but he'll give you solid all-around stats. Del Negro is a nice prospect if he can prove that potential.

Power Forward
1) Kyle Hobson - 34(C)
2) Ivan Litwick - 37(A)
3) Marques Baly - 38(A)
4) Bob McPherson - 37(B)

What a poor class of power forwards. Not much to get excited about here.

Center
1) Tanner Houbregs - 31(A)
2) Oscar Ferry - 31(D)
3) Emmanuel Griffin - 34(A)
4) Juan Cunningham - 37(B)
5) Billy Cunningham - 35(D)
6) Trevor Mikan - 38(A)

Not so much quanity, but there there certainly is quality. Three superstar centers in the making. I'd love to get any one of them...

I used to do something similar, but with A+ being 12 and going down from there (so higher score is better).

But then I started to weight attributes.  For example, if I'm looking at a C I want inside scoring to be rated as more important than outside scoring.  Defense to be more important than ballhandling.

Lol...  that is almost exactly the way mine is set up.  Except that I use potential as a multiplier, rather then as a pure number.
And depending upon what you are looking for, each person will have a different weighting system... lol

Very nice. I did something like this too, but mine was based alot more on my team needs.
