can we have preseason sims?

can we have 1 or 2 preseason sim games? so that we can test some of the rookies...

i keep asking that questions for years and years. It would take one sim - sure a workload-heavy one since everyone puts scrubs into the DC, but it would be a tremendous help.

And the real NBA has a preseason too, just to remind you ...

Just to chime in on what my league does.

After training camp we have 2 preseason sims that take place on the same day. Teams are allowed to try out 2 different lineups. The sims are 15 sim days each. To prepare for the mistake of saving over the real season and such, I get another GM, the ex-commish, to sim the preseason and upload it for me. Guys seem to like it.

But it would depend on a) if Derek wants the extra work for himself or b) if he has someone else that would be able to do just the preseason as I have

In DJSL I even store the preseason results for the rest of the season. These are the only source where you can see lesser rookies play meaningful minutes ... and those pages are very helpful for trades then !!!
