Real nice after we already had an agreed on trade...

if it's an agreed trade put it down. immediately.
so if you didn't there was a condition involved apparently (availability of draftees?).

now it's a bit late ...

He agreed to my offer and said to post...  then 9 minutes later he sent me another PM saying he likes a couple of the players left and he no longer wants to do the deal...  There were no conditions...

I should but I will wait and see how honest he is going to be...  It would looks pretty bad for someone to say to post a trade and then 9 minutes later he backs out of it...

I said you can post it. Its not an agreed trade until i agree to the trade in the completed trades thread.

"Step 4: Check back to verify that the finished trade is agreeable among all parties.
Step 5: Post the trade on the Completed Trades Forum using the template specified below.
Completed Trades Forum: http://phillyarena.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=16
Step 6: When accepting a trade, quote the original trade that you are accepting in your reply."

"Once you have posted a trade in the completed trades forum, it is a contract.  It must be honored.  The original post of a trade cannot be altered.  "

Either way, after i said you could post it, i sent you a pm a minute later telling you nevermind.

oops, houston we've got a problem.

in the past in SSBA, posting a trade wasn't necessarily what led to a deal but some sort of an agreement, like by PM, which was reached BEFORE anything was posted. The reason is simple: you need to be able to TRUST people that tell you "post it".

(it's not something I personally like, but that's how DEREK handled it so far)
(but I also don't like posting a trade and then NOT get an agreement because someone saw my post and made a better offer, so maybe that evens out ...)

I have the PM's in my inbox...  If you look they all include the time which they are sent(which in this case was 8 minutes and some seconds)...  It's a trust and honesty issue, which you are doing a good job in proving you are neither trustworty or honest...  I gave you a chance to clear this up in private, but it seems as if you want to go the other route...

Pretty bad picks by the Clips if you ask me.

yeah, i was gonna get buck williams with the 3rd pick and isiah with the 4th, but then some fool took isiah with the first pick so he was gone.

explanation: that is a stupid remark. the first two picks in this draft were very obvious to everyone. after those 2, I am sure there would have been at least 10 different choices for the 3rd pick if every gm could make his choice. there are a couple other players I liked as well... thing is, you gotta make a choice. your remark to say that these are bad picks is plain stupid. you will only be able to tell in the future. this is my choice and you have to live with it.

oh wait... I have only twice brought together a young team that eventually turned into a great team:
- Clippers in SSBA... or don't you remember how many times they wooped your ass? Smile
- Warriors in DJSL... they are still on the rise though.
so i think i know what i am doing. is it all still pure luck? no! will i need some luck for these rooks to develop into great players? sure!
