I second that move, I think more big cities should be run as countries. Wouldn't that be fun, customs and all, everytime you just try to get out of the metropolitan area ...

I dont follow politics, but I remember when they had a vote for this about 15 years ago and it didnt pass. I think its rediculous. I really cant see the province thriving financially without the support of the federal government.

Well i've seen it in our newspapers this mourning and i was rather suprised.

Off course, i welcome any new (and small) state. I hate globalization.
