After a string of succesful training camps, this one was rather poor for the Cavs. Basically everyone either did nothing or dropped a rating or two. Adams lost one in both inside and defense, which sucks. Berkowitz fell in defense and Griffin in inside. Gomes lost an outside and Van Exel in handles. Oddly, my rookie Woodson dropped in inside and rebounding but gained in outside and defense. Not bad, I guess. Alston did well but he won't play so it doesn't matter. The only significant upgrades were Manning in defense and Fisher in handles. That was about it...

Mixed feelings for the Jazz, as a team I went -2, Dial went -1 inside which hurts, but he was playing well above his ratings as it was. Rivera is now a B- at defense which really hurts my team. In better news, Toney and Vandeweghe shined, Toney going +2 inside and defense, and Vendeweghe went +1 inside. Chamberlain should dish the ball well to his young batch of scorers (yes i said scorers on the Jazz) now that he went +1 handles to A+, but at the expense of a -1 in defense. ONe of the best Assist/TO ratios just got better so the lack of defense shouldn't bother me. Also, on the topic of turnovers, Theus was a team leader in TO's last year and now he improved +1 in handles so hopefully that should improve in his quest for 6th man of the year.

TAYLOR BRADLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! +1 inside, +2 outside, +2 defense...  is now B-, A-, A-(ins,out,def)...  He is looking like a complete steal for being the #21 pick of the draft...  The rest of my TC didn't matter after seeing this...

Desmond Eschmeyer:  +1 inside, +1 handles, +1 defense...  Very solid for a 2nd round pick...
Sandy Carter:  +1 defense, -1 Inside...
James Fisher:  +1 rebounding...
Bob Diddle:  No Change...
Marty Byrnes:  -1 oustside...  Complete BUST!!!
Sly Williams:  No Change...
Mike O'Koren:  -1 Handles...
Calvin Natt:  -1 defense...  Quite disappointing, as he was looking quite promising...
Luke Jackson:  -1 handles...
Jon Beardslee:  +1 rebounding, -1 handles...
Elton Brand: -1 inside, +1 outside, -1 handles...  No real change overall...
Ricardo Tsakalidis: -1 inside, -1 defense, -1 rebounding...  biggest loser on the team...
Tyson Thurmond: +1 handles, +1 defense, +1 rebounding...  Nice surprise...
Brendan Haywood: -1 defense...  Oh well...

Overall I am happy with who gained and who lost(lone exception is Natt)...

I'm excited about my TC.  Joe Carroll stayed the same, with D potential that's all I can ask for, Mike Evans improves outside and handles, making him an even more of a playmaker from the PG spot.  Michael Thompson and Nolan Friedman both improved, which will greatly help my inside depth.  Nothing else noteworthy, I"m happy with how the my team is looking going into the season, hopefully they perform how I think they will.

heh, I was disappointed with the way his tc was last year. but man, he shoots really good ft's for a big man Very Happy

I just noticed that Dwight will be scoring more having improved on outside and inside. Brice got better on D too. My key plays had a great tc. And I think Kent would do a nice job if Dwight or Andris goes down. My 2nd rounder, Dan, improved as well. can't wait for next sim. weeeeee...

Pretty solid, I suppose - mostly balanced. Anticipated abit of improvement on the D side of the ball which didn't really happen...ugh. Pretty porous D in the backcourt.
Improved:
Reggie King did his part in justifying his place in last years trade with the Grizz. +1 IN/DEF.
Ian Magliore, PG of the here and now, gained +1 HAN and REB (?)
Morey gained one grade of defense, and flipped one grade of IN for one OUT. Fine by me.
Tracy Bradley grabbed a grade of REB. Makes him abit more playable there.
Jordan Payton improved one grade of handles - disappointing all things considered.
Macauley +1 IN, Mills +1 HAN.
Shuffled/Same:
Kevin McHale - interesting, better defender at the 3, loses a grade of handles grabs one IN after TC there. Wonder if his D improved at the 4 - maybe he needs to play there some more than Ive been planning.
Macy stayed the same guy.
Losses - Uggh:
Robertson lost a grade of handling, Finley and Molina lost a grade of REB and Memo a grade of D (bunch of jerks). Holt lost a grade IN, and since has been passed by Mags on the DC. Cho lost a grade of DEF as well - only rook not to improve. While I'm not too fussy on it, I'm not worried either - his job will be to score, score and score some more.

Decent TC for the Spurs.  Top six guys (Jefferson, Stocker, Kaman, Mitchell, Gragg, Uner) net even.  But Mitchell ends up -1 hand, -1 def, +1 reb.

Overall team was +4.  Two young guys brought back on 2 year contracts both were +2.  Sylvester went up +1 def and +1 reb to end up A-, B+ from the SF spot with B- handles.  Walsh increased +2 in handles to B to go with his A- def.  Both earned spots in the rotation for the first sim.

Not too bad for the Rockets!

 - Pollard Developed some defense and looks to be well rounded right now.
 - Gregory Holman is now quite beastly! B+ defense and rebounds while keeping B inside. Like a fine wine...
 - Hyatt lost a lil D but he has been up and down his whole career
 - Jeannette stayed the same which is HUGE for me... Starting SG...? I think so...
 - O'Connell lost a lil D, down to B+ but hey, the guy is a pimp, and was the best PG in the L last year, sure he didn't play enough games to be in the league leaders, but what he did was amazing! 12apg... one more time people... 12 ASSISTS PER GAME! League of his own!

Nuggets breakdown

C Mike Gminski (5th overall pick) - ratings did not change, potential went from C to B

C Philip Rubini signed to the min - rebounding dropped 1

C Chris Ortiz went unchanged

PF Lamar Odom - Outside shot went up 1 pt, Def went down 1 pt

PF Raul Lopez (last year's #9 pick) went up 1 in Inside scoring and rebounding, potential stays at A

PF/C Quentin Brand went unchanged

SF Purvis Short went unchanged, which is a big disappointment consider his B potential and age of 22

SF Mickael Pietrus lost 1 pt in rebounding

SF Dillon Moorehead went up 1 pt in handles

SG Zack Profit went unchanged

SG Kyle Iba lost 1 pt on Inside scoring but potential went from D to C

PG Kelvin Ransey (1st overall) went unchanged

PG Antonio Seymore gained 1 pt in Inside scoring, lost 1 pt in rebounding

PG John Duren stayed the same except potential down to C from B

Overall its a wash.
Hardly any changes whatsoever. Disappointed most that Iba's inside went down, as I invested in him for a few years, at least it was a small paycheque. But mostly disappointed that Purvis Short didnt improve. However Raul Lopez slowly gaining a couple of ratings bodes nicely for my future.
