Well, it the right offer came along, I would be interested in trading Mike Dunleavy.
Name              Pos Age Height Weight In Out Hn Df Reb Pot
Mike Dunleavy SF    23    6'9''     230   C+ B   C   B   C   A

What will it take to get him?
Either a lottery pick conditional on the player I want to be available.
Or a young top flight point guard.
My draft pick could also be included, if the deal was good enough.

If he were in the draft this year, he would easily be the 1st or 2nd small forward taken.

Not at what youre asking, i dont believe hes worth a lottery pick, I'd also take Jamal Del Negro over him any day, so hed probably be the 2nd SF taken. And even if he was, I think there are more than 13 players id take in the draft if he were available.

I wouldn't take Jamal Del Negro over Dunleavy but I would take Ethan Terpening over him.

Do you see what I'm seeing? Because Dunleavy's grades are definitely better.

Del Negro-  B- B- D+ B- C- A

Dunleavy- C+ B C B C A

I guess you're right.

But Del Negro is alot cheaper. And he has alot more bulk.

I have never been through an SSBA draft, so this interests me... Does his (Ethan's) D potential turn you off a great deal?

You just have to realize what you see is what you get.  He's not likely to improve, at all, throughout his career.

That said he'll be one of the more productive rookies.

It's all what your team needs.  If you're looking for a superstar, don't take him.  If you need a role player that can help you get over the top, take him.  Heck, it's not out of the realm of posibility that he wins ROY.

In that same breath, you look at someone like Oscar Ferry.  In real life, I compare him to someone like Elton Brand.  Elton came into the league averaging 20/10 with 2+ blocks.  He hasn't really improved upon those numbers, but he's been a consistent 20/10+.  Oscar's like that.  He may never have that extra *umph* to improve as he gets older, but he's a guy who's going to come in here and put up 20+/10 right from the getgo.
