Bah. I was too lazy to make a DC so i went with CPU. I got what i deserved. Nevermind, i wasn't interested in playoffs anyway.
But that Austin guy can really score.
Congrats Warriors and good luck rest of the way.

well, congratulations to the Heat for taking the series, especially Shultz who outclassed Dirk in a very bad way (looks like the german one is finally done on an elite level) Most of the games were blowouts, but we still came back from 1-3 to force a game 6 at home, and led that by 6 points after three quarters, only to collapse in the final 12 minutes of the season. After winning game 5 in Miami it sure would have been fun to play a game 7 there. So once again, hats off to the Heat and their big three (Shultz, Khoury, Keogan), who looked pretty unstoppable today. Will be interesting to see how the outside shooting (and high scoring) Heat can battle the slow-down inside focussed Hornets. I'm also somewhat proud being the only losing 2nd round team to make it a series at least, the rest (apart from one beautiful game from the Raptors) was downright UGLY to watch ...

I told you, if the Mavs don't make it a dynasty it will be somewhat of a choke job (sorry doug, Spurs stand no chance), and the hornets dominance hardly surprised with the decimated Raptors providing little resistance. But 2 great teams will make the finals and while Mavs should win, no team would earn a title more than the Hornets ... if they manage to get by the Heat (not a given by any means)

WOW. I never expected to sweep the Warriors although I had a good record against them in the regular season.
On to the Mavs...who split the season series with me. However 3 games were back in sim 5 before both teams made roster changes. The last game was in sim 12 and the Spurs pulled out a 3 pt win.
Anyway this will be a classic (despite Tom's predictions to the contrary) matching 2 of the better western teams for the past couple seasons. Good luck, Mavs.

Suns really missed Kirk Hinrich as we won the series 4-0. Next up Spurs, we really need to stop Eddie Uner. Eddie Uner is the heart of soul of the Spurs. Should be a good match.

After what happened last season, I am happy to get out of the 2nd round vs. the Raps. A key injury definitely helped that.
The Heat series will be interesting. We split it 2-2 on the season, with the Heat taking the last two. Each team dropped one at home, so home court doesn't appear to be a huge factor. We'll see what happens.

Conference Finals sim'd.
Finals should be a battle of the heavyweights. Probably one of the better matchups we've seen in years.

I predicted, the Spurs stand little chance, which is very unfortunate after that great season they had. And while they surprised me in games 1 & 2 the rest of the series was exactly what I had thought. And the Eastern finals were just great. Heat twice took the homecourt advantage from the Hornets, and both times they weren't capeable of holding off the charge from the Hornets, losing by 3 and 6 respectively at home. Close series, but I believe the deeper team prevailed. and interestingly enough, TMac did exactly what I thought Dirk would do: give Shultz big troubles offensively. Both Dirk and TMac don't defend a lot anymore, but Tmac got at least his offense going, especially in game 6 when Yao was held to 11pts in what could have been the series clincher for the Heat ! (i can only wonder if a Dirk/Tmac matchup could have worked in my favor ... ) Finals prediction: Hornets in 6. Barring injuries. Yao and Pavel will take Emeka and Tobey out of their offense (can't see Tobey defend the big one) and Lavar/TMac/Livi defend well enough to do the rest. Remember, the Hornets have no starter smaller than 6'7, that's amazing !

whew, barely got out of that one alive. I changed Yao to PF, which backfired bigtime. I got lucky. Great series Heat.

Congrats to the Mavs & Hornets. I was really hoping to play the Mavs to a tighter series...guess there is always next year. Go Mavs...move the Heat (my) pick up to #27.
