would i have preferred Perry over Merc? You bet. But I guess you can do worse with your MLE.

Mason solidifies a pretty inexperienced backcourt from last season (Trump, Reed, Julius) and will provide veteran leadership, and I count on him to be a great lockerroom presence.

TJ Ford for LLE. Nice.

He'll be a nice backup for Magic.

Sigh... 3 days, and still no one has signed with me...
Then again, this class is pretty bad, so it does not hurt that much.

There usually isn't.  But I know what Warriors means...I can't get anyone to accept my MLE.  And I haven't really offered it to players who have already signed.  I guess my targets are just waiting to see if someone with cap space is foolish enough to offer more than the MLE.

hardly, doug.

Usually players who get 3 or more MLE offers hold out to see if any better offer somes along, since he's in demand apparently. So if you make MLE bids for the guys everybody else is after too, then you got to wait for day 4, thats when these guys usually make their decision (too much risk to wait to day 5, somebody else could accept it until then)
