Pleasantly surprised to land John Tyler, who is just hitting his prime.
Did the sixers even offer a contract to the former number one overall pick?

There we go... kinda what I expected. I was accused in djsl for overpaying to re-sign players. And so here I was not so crazy with the contracts and see what happens. Anyway, I guess this means the end of a great era for the Clippers and we will start to rebuild for the future. So start offering me trades with young guns and lottery picks. Although I dont have much to offer now  I do have Brand who will make a playoff team turn around into a big time title contender!!! |

strange FA. I haven't seen that many day 1 signings in a long time. I'm happy getting my young guns back for a fair price. Both on 4yr deals (since this is my timeframe with the current squad) and by shelving out a tad too much for (starting) PG Trump (and don't tell me Tower is overpaid. Sure he has shown NOTHING so far in this league but his ratings keep improving and improving. +10 since he came into the league. So some day he WILL have his break out game) too bad i lost Bibby to the Heat, not that i wanted him back but his nice expiring would have brought some backup to Beantown (note to Bibby: "hey, dumbo, great idea signing a LLE on day 1 ... in your final season ! Probably the worst move in your career, even beats not retiring before last season and avoiding the embarrassement of watching you play ...") not done now, still some 12mio to spend ...  |

ouch, now that is by far the worst insult possible ...  you really think, a guy maxing out Petro, Pietrus, Reggie Evans and now Wade and Odom would get/keep a team from bods ? |

and I just checked from the save file from before I ran the sim. John Tyler had a bid of 105.4 million over 7 years from the 76ers. He just decided to go elsewhere.

This is the FIRST TIME EVER.. I saw someone walk away from a team which has he's BIRD RIGHTS and has a BETTER OFFER. FIRST TIME...
Anyway.. I am left with two options after this..
One, to quit the league.
Two, I will try to trade my whole team and rebuild again.
I'll opt for number two for now.
