Congrats to Raptors ... who surprised me DESPITE my prediction declaring them winner, since they did it without any Boykins contribution (stopping him i thought is the only hornets chance), but the Hornets simply didn't have enough offense and Yao was at least slowed down. And congrats to the Blazers ... who found a way to stop Pettit often enough to prevail. I just feel sorry for the losers here. Hornets, who fell short yet again, after their big midseason move didn't pay off. Marvelous regular season, but the individual matchups were just not in their favor (hey, tell ME - Marion-sucker - about matchup problems). And Suns, who I had penciled in for the title ... but their season was ended as soon as Billy joe Kim went down in game 4 (I NEVER EVER would have believed to write these words about Kim). He was one of the big playoff surprises and Hoffa only started to score big after Kim was gone (and the Blazers winning 2 of 3 to advance). No wonder when you look at the replacements: 34yr old (B-/C+) Jake Tsakalidis started and 39yr old Dampier played meaningful backup minutes. Ouch. The clearly didn't deserve a season ending that way ... Title game: Raptors in 6. The Blazers simply can't match the Reptiles depth and scoring power.

Congrats to both the Blazers and the Raptors. Especially the Blazers. they came out and proved they were the better team in this series. I knew that this would be a tough matchup, but playing 3 game 7's really took it out of my guys i guess. hinrich and pettit will be back, as will ruffin and Roan, so i have a good core to try to make it back to the conf finals. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!!

Nice job Raps... I really haven't had much time to devote to this recently, and my computer is broken, so that hurts things too. I was going to move Yao to PF, but I got a bit disorganized with my submission times and got caught up with my studies.
Good luck in the finals.

That is a major hit to any team.

you forget im playing this PO's without my 3 main backups, basically with 1 center (i have Nolan yes) and with only 1 PF (i have no sub for Bosh) because of my mistake in Sim12 where i left them on IL.
and well i disagree with Kim's big influence...Hoffa didnt play that bad as you say
in Game 1 he shoot over 50 % for 20/10, Bosh had a big game with 23/17 so Telf was pointing more at Bosh then Hoffa, all 3 had similar FGA.
Game 2 Hoffa got into foul trouble yes, but still he shot over 60 % again for 19/9 effort in 19 mins, again Bosh had a big night like game one so why keep sharing the ball with Hoffa when Bosh is hitting everything, it was Telf's intelligence. We won that one.
Game 3 Hoffa in 38 mins shot 13-23 for 31/17 effort.
Game 4 That was Hoffa's only bad game, 7-25 from floor but still led team with 19/14.
And we were 2-2 after those 4 games with Kim, after Kim went down they won next one but then in my opinon game 6 and 7 were decided THANKS TO ONLY ONE GUY: Mr.Carlos Clement
Now where's your point that Hoffa played bad all 4 games ?? 2 games he played great, 1 he played great but got quickly in fould trouble, and one both teams played good defense and he still led team to 83-77 victory, i just dont see your point over Kim's importance that much.
Roan we couldnt stop in any of 7 games except that Game 4 where both teams played good defense. And Hoffa had bad games after Game 4 also.
I think most crucial thing did Clement, in game 6 he completely shut down Pettit who shot 3-24 and 1-6 from 3PT for just 8pts and game 7 when he held him to 8-26 from floor and 1-7 from 3PT. Clement made the difference with 2 fantastic games when it was most needed, hopefully he can do the same with Raps SG.

Honestly I doubt the Yao to PF thing would have worked out well...he doesn't play well there. Anyway good series to you, I'm sure you'd still admit you brought your best lineup to the table and we went the full 7.

Great playoffs so far... And two excellent teams in the playoffs right now. This should be a really great series... Well done to all the teams who made the playoffs this year.

both teams won easily home games, ill have to put some more effort and change few things otherwise home court advantage could be decisive here.

Game 1 -16
Hoffa had 27/21 but shot miserably. Buehler was excellent with 24/15 on 10-19 Bosh did great grabbing 14 but like Telf was miserable on offense.
Game 2 -22
Similar game Hoffa 26/13 on little better offense. Telf, Bosh, Williams and Buehler with a nice game but Clement screwed things up shotting 1-10 FG and 1-5 3PT
Game 3 +12
Back home we played great
Hoffa 34/16 on high %, Clement added 16/5 but obviously has problems with Butler(so does Butler on offense, both defend each other great) Buehler is playing great so far, another good 14/13 on 50 % perfomance.
And one guy will start now, he might be my chance to pull one away, he plays good on offense and defense.
