Fight for #2 continues, hopefully a team can separate before last sim to rest main guys for PO's.

2-2 sim with a loss to #2 candidate Suns

Started with home loss to Clipps without both C's playing and Williams, team played miserable and so did two sub centers.
Only bright stars were Bosh and Clement.

Win over Warriors 85-72....now subs did well, Nolan 12/16 2stl 1blk on 5-8, Ricardo 12/9 2stl and blks on 6-11 FG.

Hoffa came back but possibly most important game of the season we lost at home by 3 to Suns.Hoffa had 22/18 on bad %,
Buehler was great so was another returner Williams with 18 on 9-10 from field.

Now with almost full lineup finished with revenge in L.A, Clipps went down by 29 now, everybody played well.

3-3 sim...again very up & down right now.  Injuries hit again with Mitchell getting injured in the first game and Griffin in the last game.  Luckily Mitchell only missed two additional games and Griffin will only be out 6 more days.

Even losing Mitchell didn't stop my team from putting a beating on the Hornets in the first game...winning by 24 at home.  Then beat the Rockets on the road.

Next was a real heartbreaker...losing a 1 point back & forth game with the Suns.  Can only wonder what might have happened if I hadn't been missing my starting SF:

Team 1  2   3   4    SCORE
Suns  31 29 31 28    119
Spurs 29 29 31 29    118

Obviously that tough loss carried over as I lost the next game to the Warriors.  Then a loss to the Raptors before closing the sim with a win against the Jazz.

Another tough sim coming up with another starter (Griffin) missing the bulk of the games.  The fight for homecourt in the first round is going to be tough.  But very important for the Spurs who have the best home record in the west....

7-1

and did that even without artest and lenard. i only had 6 guys playing.

started with a win over pistons with JO 32/9, Lenard 25/8 and artest 22/5/8
then a win over the best team here with tanner playing yao even with 23/7 and 4 blocks while taking almost only half the shots of yao. Lenard with 24/5
next warriors another win with artest 33, tanner 21/9 with 4 blocks and JO 20/11/6
my usual raptors loss seems they have my number this year JO with 23/11 4blocks and Lenard 22/4
an important 4-0 finish starting with a 1pt win over hawks with JO 31/13 and Lenard 26/5
then sixers (great Smile) JO with a monster game 29/22 3blocks tanner 17 and did that without lenard
now the first games without lenard and artest a 30+ win over bulls JO with 45/14 and 4blocks
and finished with a win over nuggets behind JOs 30/16/6 and lenard 26/10

not sure how JO couldn´t win at least a POTW honor.
now without artest for the rest of the season and lenard still out 3 more days i hope i can keep at least a PO place.

I have no idea what happened here.

Went 3-1 with wins at the Clippers and a 2-1 mini-series with the Heat (including another road win), BUT ...
WHO THE F... played for me ?

this is what i wanted:
C Magloire / Strait / Roof
PF Sampson / Strait / Roof

SF Nowitzki / Schabinger / Del Negro
SG Trump / Tower / Schabinger
PG Reed / Smith / Tower

This is what happened:
Sampson played 26mpg on C, secret hero Ronny Roof apparently started at PF playing 29mpg there and Evy Strait backed up both C & PF averaging 38mpg. Magloire didn't play at all. Bods ???

Though I still have no answer how my new frontcourt would look, it wasn't all bad.
Ronny Roof averaged 14/9 as starting PF on 49% shooting and held opponents (3 times Gasol and Elton Brand) to 9/12 and 41%. nice.

Trump was nice offense at SG but couldn't stop his granny there (but it didn't help he had to play Keogan 3 times).
Overall a nice team effort who secured 3 important wins in the wake of Marion's "injury break".
 Cheers

There goes my season..

Tyler and Wells went down..

Tyler couldn't really take the loss to the paces, thus after the game he suffered severe depression.   Laughing

Im just glad that I got 2 other guys who can start on my team.

Yeah.. When I saw my team page. The first thing that came into my mind was you..

YOU SON OF A B*#*#

HAHAHAHAHAHA

ANyway, I just hope Benett Fuqua would do well. And lets not forget my lottery boy last year in Goudin, who my brother drafted. He's Primo Brezec with less European look.  Very Happy

could we call Goudin a homeless man's Primoz Brezec then ?
 Lol 2

anyway, i'm deeply sorry that we can't finish our little rivalry at full strength now, especially in the playoffs (when my MVP Marion will be back again, but not Tyler). Hope you can find a replacement in the frontcourt, as despite having such a deep team your frontcourt will suffer now.

Went 14-5 over these last 2 sims...the normal pace is clearly helping Butler out alot.

Highlights of the last 2 sims include Swift's 26 and 20 against the Magic, Boykins' 30 and 18 on the Warriors, Boykins' 46 and 14 against the Wolves, Holding the Pistons to 61.

2nd best team i nthe league behind the Hornets, just .5 games back, but at the tail end of last sim lost twice to them in 3 days. That hurt.

yea i have the 3rd best record but the chance to catch the hornets is not existent imo.
in the next 2 sims they would have to loose at least 4 more games than my team. GB is just a joke. Hornets have just 4 games less.
At the current pace i am pretty sure to finish at least with the 5th best record even with all the injuries and only 12 man the whole season on my team.

ah, please stop the whining.

First it's your own fault putting just 8 guys in your DC. When 2 go down then you have to face the consequences.
Then be happy you lucked out in your matchups with RonRon and Tonio down. Rocky had to face Matthew Marion and Zack Profit. And Harris did match up with Dorell Wright and Palacio, not the toughest opp either.
And finally, Tonio misses 3 more days, and you play not a single game on those.

So please be happy ... and let's meet in the 2nd round !!!
Cool

Alcoholic first you should give them more respect since you can loose to the bulls http://rosters.ssbabasketball.com/boxes/61-6.html

and the small details you are always leaving out. Lol 2 i had to play the 76ers without lenard and they are pretty loaded at the wing position imo. And don´t tell me it is luck to win without 2 starters or do you think you can do it without marion and dirk?  Moon
