Shane Wedge is dominant ... 20ppg and 11rpg, with B+ defense.  Let's just hope that D potential is false.

By the way, is this draft preview going to stay put?  Or will there be a new set of rookies-to-be?

Went 6-0 then lost two straight, overall a 6-2 sim.  A.J. Dial was an excellent picked up he put up good numbers as a backup and he probably won the starting PF spot of Munson.

the draft preview is not what we'll be using.

8-1
with wins against Celtics twice, Wiz and Nets (okay they are playing without Okafor and Pettit - is that called cheating? We have rules!) Don´t take me serious here, just making fun but i wouldn´t like to win a title like this. ok i am as far away from a title like you are without pettit and okafor  Lol 2
JO is currently 3rd in scoring and rebounding shooting 54%  Hail
Lenard is avg over 14pts in 22 mins while shooting over 50%

I am pretty sure that i won´t last long but at least i can enjoy my wins against Celtics where his frontcourt has no idea how to stop JO.

not just that. but this is a weird sim 1. my players are well below their average. not to mention Dwight improved on rebounding but an 8.8 rpg? lol

Rex Mehta is a beast.

yea he was the only one who kept JO somehow under control.
IF JO can keep this pace he would destroy all his career records at age of 30 something  Laughing

First look at the 1st sim of the season..

HUH?  Alcoholic

The league should check the players for steroids..  Very Happy

There are alot unknown guys who are suddenly having Mike James kind of year.. Could it just be a 1st sim bug?

Anyway..

What a stupid mistake made by me again in the depth chart. Last time I made a mistake like this, it cost me not the 1st round in the play-offs. This time, I only put wells and george johnson as my scoring options. Only 2 of them.. No wonder my team did struggle in their offense.

I think they can improve in the next sim. I expect MORE from them in the scoring end. Defensively, they are doing a good job. Jaime Ruiz is averaging 9rpg and 3.6bpg (no steroids) while Wells, Erving and Johnson did a great job in steals and shot blocks. If their scoring can improve, which I believe they can with the high percentage they are shooting, I think that we can reach the kind of level I was hoping my team will be playing this season..

Looking forward for the next sim..

yeah..it should have been the sim 1 bug...there are a lot of surprises in the league... including a very nice pickup by bods in Antonio Seymore... if he's playing like that for the rest of the season than he is definitely the most improve player ever  Very Happy from a bench player who hasnt played a single game all season long....and now becomes 22ppg and 8apg player  Very Happy very nice pickup by bods....and rex mehta....wow...he is a beast...iv never seen an NBA player averages like that...if this isnt a first sim bug than its very surprising....otherwise...we all know sim1 stats doesnt really tell everything of a player....

anyway.....i think my team can still compete in the playoffs...il keep this roster intact for a while...  Very Happy

Rex also found time to put up 29/12/8 blocks that game too while fouling JO out.  I hope it wasn't a Sim 1 "bug" Very Happy

If I had more than 3 games in Week 2, Mehta might have been player of the week.

uhm, i realized i also made some silly mistakes in DC, now that i changed everything like it should've been, now i have doubts about PACE again, but still ill change it to Slow next sim, its a super tough sim so if it works out around 50 %, ill keep it, if not, ill try again with FAST but with same DC as in Sim2, as Sim1 had few mistakes that ive made postins rotations and IL i didnt even post like i should.

Well, I could not be more pleased with the Warriors performance, but I some of the guys are shooting way above their normal abilities...
Andre Iguodala has been great as a first option, scoring 25 ppg with 6.7 apg from the SF spot.
