No. Knicks, Hawks & Lakers.
Yours truly has made it only once.
Everyone else at least twice.

jeez.. you're already in the top 5 of the playoffs right now. oh wait. you forgot a subtrahend. Bird + Rookie of year + 2 Big free agent signings - record against top 8 teams= Lottery j/k I think you've got a shot that is especially if you're lucky enough to get 2 big free agent signings

actually i feel sorry for you. You lost out on the FA class because you wanted to make REASONABLE offers, not overpay for guys who are no stars (and probably won't leave the 2nd tier status anytime). But you WILL be a player in next FA when the hard cap gets even more guys to enter FA, so it's not all bad ...

Then a big Name free agent, And thats 4 players right there, And use the rest of the cash for pieces to the puzzle.

It does suck the way FA goes these days, here and in DJSL.
I routinely have cap space in DJSL, but only made a major signing this year with Turner (who I could have easily got outbid for).
Bottom line is anyone close to being a decent backup is getting close to the max amount. It's crazy.

But you will notice that contract length is getting shorter. Also when the lower cap kicks in then only true all-stars should get max money. Either that or there will be a lot of forfeited draft picks in the future drafts....

I offerd Baron a 5 year, 60 Mil deal. That's what he is worth, Gives you great defense and 13-16 PPG. He gets a 27 Million dollar, 1 year deal.
I offered Dirk 7 years, Starting at 13 Mil. Basically the max offer. He gets signed for 20 DAMN MILLION A YEAR.
Stocker got me 15 and 10, Thought 10 mil first year and 12.5 increase get's him. Guess not.
Now I am overpaying SEVERELY for one player in free agency.

Yep. You're the main reason why i resigned Dirk for such money. At first i entered 15mil per year, 5 year deal but then i saw your cap and changed my mind.
