Wow. Really thought Evans/Cheeks/Theus would go 11,12 and 13.

I'm thrilled to get the #1 guy on my list. He's a guy that can already score in bunches, and has decent D and handles...and I checked his potential, which makes me even more excitied.

Of course, unless he wows, he's a backup.

very happy to pull in Theus realizing he's one of the most well-rounded players of this draft with high potential and according to the Raptors should have been picked a spot before me, I struggled on whether to take him or Freeman Williams, but decided on Theus because of his versatility and the fact that i already 2 of the best, if not the best shooters in the league and wanted to find some balance in the talents of my shooting guards.

I think the Cavs may have gotten a steal with Robey cause i don't think Corzine will improve much over being a great backup or a calvin booth role. Obviously this late in the draft, Evans and Cheeks were great pickups for them to drop this far.

I'm glad I got Theus over Cheeks even though his true potential is promising. I still fill a more needed position with versatile, albeit wiry player at 190 lbs, in Theus at 6'6".

so to recap my draft thus far:

I got a Yao stopper in Dial 7'0" 298lbs,
a controversial Josh Howard-type player in Hardy, and a versatile, well-rounded guard in Theus, possibly the best overall SG of the draft (although like with Mitchell and Hardy, I toyed with Freeman Williams).

The Theus pick is nice. I always, always want a guard that can score inside.

Which is the biggest reason I picked Evans. C+ inside is above average for a PG. If he improves a bunch this offseason, I may have to put either him or Max on the block..... Thumbs Up

dammit, dammit..... i had the 6th pick here and i got the 6th player on my list, Mo Cheeks escaped for #1 damn, but well still i finally got a good SG which was my cancer position for a couple of seasons, now i have him and Clement, it should be a great duo, if he improves defense, ill be very happy as i'll have at least 2 great players at each position, of course if Telf re-signes, if not im screwed.

Reggie Theus is an absolute steal at 14... especially if that potential is at all true

I was hoping to get a pick around there just in case he did fall

Wish Mitchell had gone before the Spurs picked....just makes them better this year, and I have their first.

I really wanted Butch Lee and could have traded to get him but I thought he would be gone for sure before the pick I could have got and he slipped to 20!!!  Good draft for the Sixers.

BUTCH LEE?

A 6'0" PG without a jump shot and questionable potential, leaves me wondering. The only younger player I found who compares somewhat leads me to the assumption Lee could be a poor man's DeAndre Fabrizio (yes, he's STILL in the league, despite Ivan nearly killing his career). Not the best start ...

Besides, when all they need is big men, big men, big men, why draft another backcourt guy and not go with a project PF/C ?

btw, talking bout Lee, did you know that we did not have a SINGLE PG in the last 8 (EIGHT !!!) drafts who had a better inside than C+. Not one, not even Fabrizio, so Lee is somewhat special ...

I really like the Jazz draft class.  Kyle Dial and Reggie Theus( I think is a steal at 14) will be a good players.  Also cannot believe Cheeks fell to the 15th pick.

Shane Wedge fits nicely with this team.  He will be, at the very worst, a solid role player.  With B inside, B- defense and C+ rebounding, this guy should see plenty of minutes right away.

I am also glad to have found a legit 7-footer for the first time in a while, at least one who can score.

I'm left a little puzzled by the Raptors selection of Mike Evans over Mo Cheeks.  This just smells of the 'Lorenzon Ellis over Mason Mercer' pick of a few years ago.  Sure, Evans is a good outside shooter with more potential.  But I think sometimes you should look to a guy who has the skillset required to play the position.  If Mo Cheeks potential is true, I don't see how he doesn't end up with an A- handling (which he already has) and an A- defense.  All that it requires to get there is a +2 improvement.  Sure, it's possible Evans increases by 3 in ballhandling and 2 in defense, but you're banking a lot there on potential.

I don't like combo guards even a little.

Being that he already has a pg, I probably would have gone with Reggie Theus there.

If you need a pg, I think you should draft a pg.  If you need a SG, I don't like trying to convert a pg there.

The 7 guys on my list went in the first 7, but not in the right order. I got the 5th guy on my list in Robey. A big man with solid defense and offense to start with and some potential, so I can't go wrong.
