One season.
From day 1 of one season, halfway through the draft. So it wasn't even an entire year.
Then we couldn't get the save file from him, so we had to start over.

Nah, Jem quit as commish right before the beginning of the season because he didn't want to do it anymore. In fact, it was whe he sent me the old save file (from when he quit) was when we had 100% proof that the commish cheated.

No, Jem had nothing to do with the scam. Jem was our commish for the first 3 seasons of SSBA. Then life got in the way, so he handed the reigns to Twan (TFAR on RealGM), and then it went downhill from there.

You guys can argue about your frontcourt, but I had the best overall team (for the future) in the league. 4 of my 5 starters were under 23, and the team won 50 games. I had just drafted a sg who would become a star (20 ppg scorer when I simmed the league a few years), and a good 16/10 pf. Then I obviously had Telfair (6/1 assist to turnover ratio) and Pavel (A defense and A rebounding.
I had that TEAM fit together perfectly. Not 5 guys looking to score. Not 5 superstars. I had 1 clear cut first option (Marion, also a top notch defender). A clearly defined 2nd option (Long). A 3rd option (Isidoro Vaughn). Then I had my "role" players. The "role" players were the best in the league at their roles. Telfair as the best ballhandling pg in the game, who could also hit the 3 and play defense. And Pavel, one of the best defenders and rebounders at the center position in the game. Neither of them required shots.
Man, that team was nice.

Are you kidding me? I won 52 games, and I had Wright, Emeka, Darko as a young f/c, avg age 24, all locked up. Then I had vet PG Kidd, when you NEED a vet PG, and defensive genius JJ. My bench could have beat 3/4's of the teams.  |

I'd like to think my team had a chance to win a couple more championships after we won the last one... Ben Wallace C D C- A+ A- C Amare Stoudamire B+ C- D A- A- B Glenn Robinson B A- C A- C C Jason Richardson B A C+ A- C A Jamal Crawford C A- B+ A- D+ B Man that was a sick lineup  I think I can claim best team... At least at that point. Not in the future though. |
