A bum who someone felt the need to start an entire thread about Nah, as i just said, i was just being curious cause i haven't seen that before. FA rejects the offer (regardless of what kind a offer that was) and rather stays the free agent. It just doesn't make sense. |

It just doesn't make sense. So you don't really care either way? Funny, since I got a different sense when I read your first post... I'm still wondering what happened to my offer for him? Since i'm litlle bit thin inside i could use him. I offered him a one year deal but he's still a free agent and now Raptors signed him. I would like to have him back if possible.  |

Ha, yeah, not that i wouldn't mind him, i could use him somehow. But with Booth, Dirk, Gasol and Collison i don't think he'd see any minutes anyway. Actually i don't even know why i wrote that. Cause i was just being curious that's all. You'll see what i'm talking about once the season starts. And i won't be suprised if you trade him for a 2nd rounder as well.  |

Sorry guys, check the season ending roster pages. Brand had 5 bird years, when I traded him on day 1 of last season (for FA pickup Parker Kidd) and still when the season finished. There is NO way a 1yr max deal should have been anything less than 10.9 mio. Unless the Kings cut him, which i find no evidence in the t-log for ...  |

Dirk is no PF/C, Booth is 500 years old, and Gasol/Nick can break down any day. There is hardly a team in the league needing brand MORE than the Kings. And I say it again, what a poor mistake giving Brand to this crappy little punk in the first place. I guess 27 other teams would have been glad to get him for free AND valued that. And NONE of these teams would NOT have resigned him ...  |

yea i thought the same when i asked if brand wasn´t traded and the bird years should have been more than 3. But i guess even ivan didn´t know he had bird year rights on brand  |

After all, the new FA entry system was made specifically to take care of ignorants who still don't get the cap rules after 14 seasons here in SSBA ... |
