I really wish Gasol was overvalued this much when I had him on my trading block.

i am sure it was more the contract than the ability of gasol.
gasol is still a solid 3rd maybe 4th option but his contract makes him almost untradeable for equal value.

The Kings are now a very different team, I am very curious to see how it works out.  Gasol is a bad rebounder, and Dirk is good at SF, but bad at PF... But offensively, they have the best one two punch ever assembled...

[/quote]

Well, everything depends on the TC. If they stay the same i could have a shot. If not, i'm screwed.

And about that one two punch, Tmac/Hoffa is right there as well.

I had the pleasure to entertain Gasol too and his inconsistency (more than 4 seasons ago) drove me as crazy as you, apparently.

I don't have high hopes for Gasol. I know what kinda player he is. As a 3rd or even 4th option i think i won't be bother with his inconsistency.

Can't wait for the first DJSL-style rant from the Kings GM ...

Nah, i'm not that passionate about SSBA anymore. I know my window is closed. I can't be mad at this team, they gave all the got every time on the floor. Hustle, rebounding, scoring, everything. It's those stupid, overpayed kids with tons of potential that irritates me. If they were to play like this old farts here, they would have been a top 3 team already.

Anyway, what's up with FA Day 2? What's the trouble? Program can't handle the amount of MLE offers i entered? Laughing

C'mon you know exactly what will happen in TC. These are old vets, and as always you'll see some decline. Most of it won't reflect in the (letter) ratings, some will. So even if you lose like 20 net ratings this could mean exactly the same decline in real ratings as if you lose just 4 net ratings.

Production will be more or less then same, maybe a tad below last season's. Most (visible) change will come from players playing in a different system with different teammates.

I can't imagine a team with less importance of the TC than yours ...

Since when?  You have very slim chance of signing anyone with only 5 offers.

5 MLE, 5 LLE, 5 Min, 5 custom(cap space), 5 re-signed

And that rule has been around for a while now, maybe 5 seasons.

?

I stopped doing FA offers for you two seasons ago, and that was clearly WAY before this board was activated.

You don't read, apparently...

BTW, very nice Bods...  Now the Kings can make an MLE to every free agent that exists, and not have to bother you with it Smile

Not exactly. This DB doesn't put the offers in FBB I believe, it's still bods who has to do this manually. Thats why bods upheld the limit of 5 offers per day.
Smile
Ahh, how sad...   Crying or Very sad
really wanted to see the Kings get McKinley Blair for the MLE   - http://ssba.phillyarena.net/players/player475.htm

Yeah, I still have to manually enter the bids.  I wish I could find a way to automate that, but it's just not possible.

I could have it count the # of bids you have active and prevent you from inserting more than 5 though Smile
