Future defensive stud, exactly what I need. Suns tricked me, lol, saying he would take O'Neil.

Great trick from the Suns, they will regret NOT taking O'Neil when their opp ppg increase by 8 now ...
 Lol 2

The first 4 picks were pretty much in line with most common predictions, just Walsh as #5 is abit of a reach for being so one-dimensional. I have him listed #45 in this draft looking sorely at college potential ratings (which too isn't far from where he belongs). But with Juan Ward starting the Nuggets could take the risk here, and who knows how he'll pan out. At least that ONE dimension he fills like few others ...

I agree with Roan over O'neal.  Give me a guy who's great at one thing (A- inside scoring) rather than a jack of all trades.  Roan will be a 20+ ppg scorer.  with only a C inside scoring (that will likely never improve), I don't see O'Neil being much more than Trent Kundla, at best.

I was also looking at possiblty acquiring a top 3 pick for to nab a guy like Roan. I think he could be the best player out of this draft, scoring-wise. His defense is still subpar, but with his inside offense, he could easily contribute like Donta Smith right away,

I wont regret Not taking ONeil, i like Oneil, and seriously considered taking him, and at the last minute almost sent a pm to the commish changing the pick, but Last time i traded for a top 3 pick, i went with the defender in Gerstl, who had similar ratings to O'neil, and that dident work too well for me. Roan should come in right away and give me 20ppg and he's C+ on def and outside shooting, so maybe that can improve.

I'd also have taken Roan over Oneil.

But the guy I would have taken 3rd is still on the board.

I didn't say you will regret it NOW but you might regret it after two seasons when O'Neil, who simply has more potential (in college ratings AND in SSBA rating which doesn't happen too often), will be considered the top player from this draft (unless my REAL dark horse breaks through ... Wink)

No SG with C inside scoring will be the top player of any draft, I'm sorry.  Not to mention C handles.  Look at Aaron Bruce.  What's he averaging, 12 ppg?

I was kinda hoping O'Neil dropped to six, but I would have definitely taken Roan over O'Neil.  You can't pass on that kind of offense in a draft like this.

I'm logged on but at work.

Or, to get some life back in SSBA, someone that has more than 1 day off every 4 months could run it until July.

The only reason I was able to do the website additions is because I can sneak those in at work.
