i just feel it is too easy to extend and reduce contract... It costs $600 to extend the contract of someone making 5+ million. If you are active every single sim, you get $320 in a year. That means you would have to miss zero sims for 2 sim seasons to be able to extend 1 guy for 1 yearI'll take it under consideration, but I think the $'s just about right.

First of all, if you're going to complain about someone, don't pussy foot around the fact.
Second, if you're talking about the lakers, he hasn't posted every dc for a season yet, so this money doesn't affect him.
Third, some of us in lives are more busy than others. I've had discussions with lakers (and Pistons) and deemed their activity levels to be justified by personal situations. I understand Pistons situation. But lakers? He wasn't even active in the league and still had the time to run his own sim league.

Look, based on the conversations I've had with both, it's my decision, and this is not up for public debate.

Oh no, you won't get the money for your 2nd rounders circus. This brings up a good point. I suggest that trades for picks only don't get paid. A player has to be involved to earn the money.

I like that this is coming in at the same time as the hard cap, that takes some of the worry away from the Heat's point, because even if a guy gets his bird years, he's not gonna want to max him out necessarily...
I don't think this will have a huge effect on the league, but whatever effect it has will be positive.

can the players still ask for extension without us using the point system? Yes, this doesn't interfere with the other aspects of the program.

i know it is a little of topic but does anyone know where the nuggets are currently? It is not fair to give TOM a lotto pick because of inaktivity Their last post in here came on March 8th and the last activity in DJSL forum came on March 8th as well. That's why i had to strip them of JazzGM duties there, before the team completely goes down the drain (something the new JazzGM achieved with ease being active, btw ... ) Though i'm not sure they would win more being active, with that team which is basically just Berkowitz, Butler and Odom ... ups, cancel Odom for this season ... but honestly, i aquired the pick before the season started.

I as well was looking for NuggetsGM.
And if you want to vote about this system. My vote is a positive one.

NuggetsGM is currently MIA, and it's a known issue. I'm giving him a little bit of leeway since he's been here from the beginning, but soon there's going to be an open spot.
And I don't really think there's going to be a vote on this, unless there's widespread disagreements with it.
