Not quite sure how it happened...  Bods, first on my list was Preston Barbosa.  I edited the list at 7:19 pm, but since the list was not read, I thought I could edit it.

If it was too late to edit, that is fine....

How it happened?

I foobar'd the draft.

Anyone who wants Denis Oswald, Preston Barbosa.  I will then swap teams (and salaries).

Thanks, I appreciate the help, Bods.
Even though most people probably think I am an idiot, taking Barbosa over Denis Oswald.   Very Happy

Barbosa has some decent offensive abiities, and was an A- perimeter defender in college.  Hopefully his scouted potential is off Smile

Really wanted Pat Mier, but I can handle Jusin Brown, the starting PG on one of the nation's best teams.

FBCB has him rated as a fantastic shooter, a great passer and primeter defender, and great at staying out of foul trouble.

Raptors and Warriors.... you were the other ones in this part of the draft taking a pg besides of me. Now I only had the last pick of these 9 picks.
I am wondering why you guys did not take Chung Luckett? To me, he seems better than Barbosa and Brown. But maybe I look at it differently.

I went with the scoring punch. Right now I have THREE Pgs that are excellent at defending....and I am bringing in another one who is an excellent defender, so I went with the scoring.

I had all these guys on my list too and i see Luckett as the best PG of this bunch, but he didn't play against the toughest competition, so who knows. Brown's ratings are way better, but his TOs are just too much.
Barbosa is no PG, he's listed as SG and played there all year, while he even was listed SF most of last season (looking at the numbers SF suits him more, but his biggest weaknesses are exposed there more too)

I gave Barbosa a real deep look but decided to go with Villegas, not only because i already have two talents in Schabi and tower at SG but because an All-American Award should account for something too ...

Yes, I was not really interested in a PG, Barbosa is a SG/SF, even thoguh he does have a good enough handle to be my 3rd PG.

I also needed some scoring punch, and Barbosa seemed to have very good collegiate scoring abilities, as well as a good perimeter defense rating.  That C+ inside is very important for scoring effectiveness and aggressiveness, and rarely goes up for guards.

If you had offered that pick to me (and i was negotiating with the Cavs all evening) this wouldn't be your problem now ...

you might have offered the pick some weeks ago, but my draft started only on wednesday, when i had my 1st pick. Then i did my research and found out who i liked. I tried very hard to get #22 but i couldn't deal a 2015 pick. Nets were the only other team offering a late 1st in the trades section, but i didn't think my guy would be available then.
