I'll take the Heat...

Welcome, you got the Heat

Looks like we're full now, but if someone is still interested (Clippers?) i'll take a deep look at inactive GMs in DJSL soon (Warriors, Celtics ...)

Yeah, I might be interested.

OK, I just kicked out the Warriors in DJSL due to inactivity. No draft list, no FA offers, no DC. Actually he kicked himself out ...

And being the Kings (here) have made a hybrid Nets/Warriors squad on DJSL as well....  Pretty funny Smile

Look for a Jazz resurgence in that other league!!

Seriously, though, it's pretty hard to keep track of two leagues at once.  It's also hard trying to get used to a different set of GM's who don't function quite as professionally as the group here does.

lolz!  I'm in social studies!  lolz!

Yeah, keeping track of 2 leagues is gonna be tough.  When I was doing 4 leagues (for about 2 days, lol) my head was spinning.

Raptors/HeatGM are going to flip on some of those guys for responding to PM's.

I sent one guy a bunch of offers and he just goes "Maybe".  Doesn't continue dialog at all.

Haha, yeah...when i first took over the team, it was something like 25 games under .50 with Iverson and Sammy as the only players that worths something. Then i traded AI + 2 first rounders for Emeka who was the only big avail at that time and off course i did it cause of the cap relif. Next FA i had plenty of money so i signed Hinrich who was best young PG available at that time. This year signed Deng also through FA.

But i still don't have someone like Tmac... Sad

You should ask CelticsGM about that. I think he was doing 5 leagues at once for couple of months. And not only that, but he was active in every one of them just like he is in SSBA. He was even making articles in another leagues! Laughing

And yeah, kids are terrible. That's why we asked all of you to join in the first place. Smile

At last you get the maybe...  Still have not gotten a response from Social Studies boy Smile

Especially with all the unfamiliar names, it gets pretty tough to distinguish.  If both leagues eneter the draft or free agancy at the same time, weel, I hope you can forgive me when I send in a name that does not exist, bods Smile

My deal for Ilgauskas was agreed to at like 10 AM, and then the other GM kept trying to change the deal, with me saying, "No, I thought we already agreed on a deal", until it gets posted like 7 hours later.  That was extremely frustrating.

And yeah, I've been sending out feelers to other teams too, and some are offering back MLE/LLE guys and not even trying to make salaries match, like offers that are at least $10 million off.

The whole making/spending $ angle is something I'm still trying to wrap my head around.  That's an interesting twist though.

Heh, that's the "maybe" guy.  Very annoying.

From what I gather he and NuggetsGM (in DJ, not you) are like....combined, my age (24).

Tell me. I'm chasing that Sonics guy about Wade for about week now. "I like that deal" or "yeah, i really like your players" he responds every time...But it's the kids and it's completely diferent league as far as professionalism goes. You have to lower your standards.  Smile

Gee, I could've never guessed about that other NuggetsGM, not with posts like "MY TRADE BLOK DOSN'T SUK COCK!" or whatever it says.   Laughing

I guess I'm the old man on the block then, since I'm pushing 29.

he made me an offer...  after negotiations, I accepted. Then he wants to wait...  BTW, they go to the same school... yikes....
