I guess the Spurs have to make a cut first but with some expiring contracts i don't see a problem.

damn i hate to see Duncan go, i'm almost certain he'll develop into a great starter.

but on the other hand i like the outlook of Schabinger becoming my starting SG when Gino leaves. I'm old in the backcourt and Schabi/Schenk make me younger there.

RJeff and Redd are probably a wash, Redd being the better scorer (adn he ALWAYS gave me fits when i played the Pistons) and RJeff the better defender (where Redd is underrated too).

Finally my pick. I hope i can't duplicate a season like this again with Stromile returning and the young kids more developped, so if it's still lotto I'll bite myself into my bottom ...

I don't see the need to cut someone as it is 4 players for 4 players but if Nets feel a cut is needed then I will cut Sharman.

For the Spurs we hate to let Schabinger go but to get a solid young bigman in Duncan back it was time.  One of the Spurs biggest weaknesses was finding frontline help.  With Duncan and Kim we feel that we have found our frontcourt of the future.

Hate to rain on anyone's parade, but Redd was traded on day 41 and can't be traded again until day 101(which is past the deadline).....Unless he is the only one going out...

after more than 15 hours of constant negotiations our teams of lawyers came up with a perfect solution

trade 1: (Spurs cut Sharman before that)
Celtics trade:
Rich Jefferson & Evan Lo & Celtics 2013 first
Spurs trade:
Michael Redd

trade 2:
Celtics trade:
Johnny Duncan & Larry Escamilla
Spurs trade:
Peter Schabinger & Alex Schenk & Curtis Borchardt

Celtics agree ...
