Kings continue with their road to glory with somehow favorable schedule coming next. After first half of the season and with some brutal schedule so far, Kings remain near the top of the West with a 40-16 record. When healthy and at full strenght, this team proved it's really tough to beat. At home where the Kings have one of the best records in the league at 24-6 as well as on the road. Everyone is doing it's job just and the team unity is one of the best on years. Sacramento Kings Sim 9:
82 Bucks @ Kings 83 Kings @ Wizards 86 Mavericks @ Kings 87 Jazz @ Kings 88 Kings @ Rockets 89 Kings @ Warriors90 Kings @ Celtics Game of the sim: Day 89: Kings @ Warriors. Two top Western teams face each other in one of the biggest and most important game so far. With #1 seed still in the air it is crucial for the Kings to take that game and make a early statement before the playoffs. Showdown is guaranteed and Arena in Oakland is expected to be packed as the tickets are already sold out.

In the previous match-up between the 2 teams, the Kings homecourt advantage was visible in force. The Warriors defensive intensity was low, likely because of a 4 day break between games.
Dirk will be back from injury for the game. Should be very interesting game.

Very interesting sim for me.
Besides my ongoing battle for who should be starting SF (which is a very good battle, btw), I got to see a preview of Lincoln Lord as starting pg, with Boykins down.
Went 7-1 for the sim, lost the first game to the Hornets then won 7 straight. Very good last 2 sims at 15-2 after some mediocre middle season play, now playing championship ball.
Lord with very mixed results. For the sim averaged 13.5 pts, 5.6 assists, 1.12 steals, 2 to's in 31.6 minutes. Shot 47.7% from the field, 47.8% from 3 pt range (11-23), 91.6% from the line as a non-option. Love the scoring, would like more assists (I think part of that is due to Dunleavy over Battier). Had a 20 pt performance, then followed it up with a 29 pt, 11 assist, 5 steal effort. But he also had a 3 pt, 7 assist effort and a 4 pt, 5 assist effort, not to mention 7 pts, 4 assists. I guess you can expect some inconsistency from a rookie, but could have been better.
Interesting battle for starting SF spot.
Since becoming a starter Dunleavy has the following averages: 12.52 pts, 8.12 rebounds, 3.72 assists, 1.88 steals, only 1.64 turnovers. Vs. Battier's 7.96 pts, 5.44 rebounds, 1.37 assists, 1.74 steals, 1.4 turnovers.
Obviously, the 4.5 more ppg is nice. But it's the rebounds and assists that I love about Dunleavy. Team's 20-7 with Battier starting, 20-5 with Dunleavy.
Dunleavy's defense has been great too, holding opposing SF's to about 40% shooting while he's starting.
Some decisions to make, indeed. Battier's proven success with this lineup, but Dunleavy's been amazing.

Ah shit, i just knew the injurie will occur... Both of my pg's went down but at least Tinsley will be ready for the next sim. Pretty mediocre 4-3 sim. Don't know what happened. Can't explain the lost from the Rockets. Mavs also once again had my number. And off course, congrats to the Wariorrs on a huge blowout. Had no idea what happened. I know Dirk went crazy but overall my team was just pathetic.

btw My frontcurt of Hoffa - Camby - Forston is really having a hard time staying out of foul trouble, specially Hoffa.

man... I had an impressive sim, too bad my 3rd option didn't show up his offensive wares. dang. Against the knicks, William Brice lit them up shooting 15 of 20 including a perfect 5 3-conversion. He went on to score 35 with Dwight grabbing 17 rebounds. My boy Mangrum also had a whopping 17pts and 15 asts performance. too bad, Nets lit me up the next game

btw, I have a wrong DC.
I had Arroyo as my 2nd string PG and he didn't play. Maquis was listed to play at SG and he played PG.

I had Arroyo as my 2nd string PG and he didn't play. Maquis was listed to play at SG and he played PG. That's because your DC's are bolded wrong. Sim 8 you had: PG-Mangrum/Daniels/Arroyo Sim 9 you had: PG-Mangrum/Arroyo/ DanielsYou didn't bold Arroyo, so I didn't change it (it became Mangrum, Daniels, Daniels). When I'm doing DC's I pretty much scan for bolds, then check to make sure I have the starting 5 correct. So if you don't bold correctly, your backups will get messed up.

Still holding the 6th seed in West, team is improving from year to year that's important, now just 1 game away from my "record" so far, but i'm really hoping to get inside the play-offs this year, no high hopes for my youngsters, but some playoff experience is a must for this season and for future of this young team.
I had a really tough schedule, toughest so far so going 4-5 i'm pretty satisfied considering i played all PO teams. Nice thing to know also is i havent suffered a heavy loss for a long long time now, which proves my youngsters are coming closer and closer to the big ones.
Started with a loss at home to Clipps, defeated the Raptors by 9 like i projected Raps, it was front/back duel this time but yao 29/19 couldnt do it alone against Schultz,Telf backcourt, Buehler added a nice 16/10/6 also. Won another at home to Wolves, Telf 21/10, Schultz 18/12 boards, Ricky Davis came out as a nice sub posting 15, Haywood was shooting terrible but was a excellent presence down the boards with 18.
Then hit the road with win over LAL, Haywood 24/8, Schultz 23/6/6, Russell added 20, Cunny 17 but "the alfa" was Telf with 14/18 and 3 steals, shooting 6/7 FG only, but dishes tell everything.
Lost in Washington by 3 (that i kinda regret, i might have gone 5-4 which would be much more then i expected this sim), Telf 19/5/9, Haywood 18/14, Schultz 17/7/7 and so on.
Now here i got more pissed off losing at home to Wizards, Telf 24/16, Schultz 20/10 others played terribly.
Beat the Mavs by 20 at home, Telf seems to be raising from sim to sim into a true leader, amazing display last 2 sims.
Lost to NJN away by 19, that's the only game i knew i cant win, especially not in New Jersey.
And Finally Mavs got their revenge in Portland, Haywood 22/16 and Telf 17/7 only bright stars in this game.
Im satisfied, wish i could've take one win out of Wizards to go again over 50 % in the sim, but play-offs are approaching and this team definitely has chances to get inside.

btw I really hope you hold onto that 6th spot. Just don't let damn Mavs pass you otherwise i'd play against them instead of your Blazers.
