Well my next strech of games is MUCH easier, as 6 of my 8 games next sim coming against sub .500 teams, and the other 2 being Blazers and Heat. All winnable.

After that, 6 of my 8 the next sim, same deal.

Dont count you'll pass Blazers that easy, we're rising from sim to sim (only last one wasnt good 'cause i was experimenting something).

And i Portland all of the top teams have failed, so i see you going defeated
 as well.

Why would you be ashamed for saying that?

Because giving you more to brag about about is like giving a pyromaniac  a set of matches and a gallon of gasoline as a present...

and because it sounds funny (and not completely confident) when a team sitting atop the standings is a bit scared of a team that's substantially back ...

Kings... congrats on your recent winning streak. Kings is hot team!

But let me tell you this about getting to the finals. Over the years I have learned that regular season does not mean much. Of course you need to 'make' the playoffs, but other than that.... playoffs is many times like russian roulette!

I completely agree, and I think the re-sim is evidence enough that plain LUCK is playing a major part in FBB ...

or how could the Warriors turn a 6-7 sim into a 12-1 sim using identical game settings, not changing anything (and neither did their opponents)

I'm not predicting a win, I'm just saying my game against you is winnable.

It is no doubt an interesting matchup, with Haywood on Yao. I look for Dickau to have a big game, but it certainly wouldnt shock me if you beat me.

 Question

Hence my not so raging confidence in my team's ability at this time. Smile

My big hope is that Dirk does his usual SSBA Playoff thing, and just absolutely dominates.  What was it, 2 years ago he must have averaged 12 rpg as a C+ rebounder...  My boy steps it up come playoff time.

3 games of that turnaround was the injury to Don Ruffin.  I went 1-3 without him in the lineup.  The rest, pure luck.

Just when we were on a roll, Harris went down. Mad .  I will be without Harris and Jackson for next sim.

* +21 vs the Rockets: Hoffa & Tmac with 77pts and 20 boards combined, end of story.

How this teams plays, without and major injuries, anything else then the Finals should be a great dissapointment. But we'll see, West, and specially Pacific is packed with great teams.

End of story? Back to your old trick ignoring all negative, like a home loss to the powerhouse Pistons where Steven Schmaltz had a lot of fun toying around with Hoffa?

But i'm not completely sold on the "packed" Pacific. You also have the three worst teams (loss-wise) in the whole league in your division so a high win% isn't that much of an accomplishment. Still it's very likely that the Finals team from the West will be decided in the Warriors/Kings/Clippers battle (with the Clippers being least dependend on staying injury-free).
One thing is clear, this 3-team contest (with the drak horse Grizzlies) will be fun to watch as the season moves on ...

Anyway, congratulations to staying relatively injury-free so far.

Well i'm sure if i have went for 15-0 you'd surely find somethin to brag about. Hey guess what? Sixers beat the Nets by 11. I guess that makes the Nets not so serious team afterall, right? Rolling Eyes

Yeah, well it will depend who'll do more in the game, your frontcourt or my backcourt.

My backcourt is not poor defensivly. Check the first game we played, where I beat you 98-80. Telfair had 18 and only 2 assists on 8-22 shooting. Shultz had just 12 points.

As for my team, it was very much an all around effort. Haywood held Yao to just 23 and 7, but everyone else chipped in.

Yeah i know, but my tactics there were completely different, that's why it was pretty balanced game, but with current tactics i think Yao will destroy my frontcourt this time, but my backcourt will be much much better then last time due to changes i made in my gameplay tactics, we'll see anyway, strange things happen...it might be pissed off Perry who'll decide the game  Laughing
