I agree as well...

I hate trading Posey to a division rival, but no one else was even remotely interested.

Posey has not played well (aka very badly) this year in a back-up role (and, he has had only one good sim so far)

Chris Bosh is actually a decent defender at the SF spot, and is the only big man besides Nowitzki on my roster with higher then a C+ inside.

But, what it really comes down to, Bosh has more trade value then Posey.

Dang, I was hoping to get Bosh, as he's 25.  Lowballed Kings (admittedly) hoping we'd find some common ground, but ended up trading him without replying.  And no, I'm not trying to sound like RaptorsGM, it's my own fault for lowballing him in the first place.

Bods: that's the lesson, don't do that again when dealing with me Wink

And no, Posey was my first priority. Battier is great defender and would be awesome fit for my team, but i don't like his contract. Since this team has maybe 1 or 2 years left playin on a high level, i didn't want long term contracts. Posey has only 2 years left on his contract, can score and also defend some. I think he'll be a great on my team. I really needed a swingman who can play 2 and 3 like him.

Bosh is just...too average. He's a good backup and nothing else + he didn't fit in my plans. My team is construced of vets and Bosh isn't something i would built around in the future. So basically, he was pretty much uselles on my team.

I like my team now alot. One of the best starting fives in the league with Camby, Hoffa, Posey, Mcgrady and Bibby with Fortson, Turkoglu, Nesterovic and Tinsley off the bench. I think this will be a very, very dangerous team.

Erm...
ok.

Or you could like at it like negotiation (by you) can improve an offer.

But, whatever way you want to think of it.

Ah, it was a joke man, no hard feelings.

And i don't think i could have gotten something more for him. I was trading him for over a month, and only recived lousy offers. Posey was the guy i really wanted (he had like what, 15ppg, 7rpg as a starter on one of the best teams in the West) and it was best i could get for him. Of all the players on your team that you were willing to trade for Bosh, Battier was the only one i was interested but as i said, his contract is too long. He's over 30 now and once his defense goes down i don't think he'll worth something (off course i might be wrong).
