Honestly, if I win this year, I will probably break up my team.

Glad to get some burn.  I don't think my team is as good as the record suggests so far, but in the SSBA, Dirk seems to reach another level in the playoffs.   That is what I am hoping for.
I think the Nuggets are seriously legit, and if Berkowitz gets any better, we may all be done for.

BTW, is Alphonse Butler possibly the biggest steal of any draft?

No

I just looked up my draft file. Butler had the 2nd best differential between college ratings and college potential only half a point behind ... Max.

And he was picked #15 so that's not steal range. That's just bad judgement (or analysis) by some GMs picking the likes of Novoseltsev ahead of him. And he was the third SG taken behind Will Brice (not a bad one himself) and the aformentioned Royda ...

Maybe, but he was taken 15th, which isn't that late. But of course, if the draft was done all over again he would be a top 5 pick for sure. But if we're talking the biggest steal of any draft, Chamberlain was a mid 2nd round pick.

We shall see...  If Butler gets his TO's under control, and keeps up the incredible shooting percentages, he could end up as the best point in the league.

IMO, 15th pick for a franchise player is a steal.  But we shall have to see how he develops.  He shooting percentages are just amazing to me...

Went 1-7.  I would advice you guys not to try never on press/trap strategy.  BTW, how many minutes in OT, the clips scored 31 points in OT. Shocked

Actually FBB recommended "NEVER" for my team *lol*

And 31 sure looks like a triple OT result ...

One positive from the 1-7 sim was Armando Thompson.  Fill in for Harris and Terry at pg.

48min 12-17FG, 2-4Three, 1-2FT 5REB 4A 2ST 4T0 27PTS

On the season he is shooting .759% 22-29.

Fab is showing why I had the confidence to trade Mercer based on his potential.  His last sim numbers (8 games):

15 ppg
6.5 apg
4.7 rpg
1.7 spg
0.75 tpg
53% FG

He doesn't turn the ball over and his FG% is downright amazing. Just a great all around player.

Amare also played like a beast, averaging 29/11 on the year

Hopefully my team picks it up with Gasol

Just got home from the cinema. Man, Peter Jackson is a genius! He even made a great movie out of King Kong. I love it!

I went 3-5 but Mason Mercer has a fairly optimistic sim...

24.6 points
9.25 assists
4 rebs
2.5 steals
4.5 turnovers

Still a lot of turnovers but his points assits and defense really make up for it, he's a very good player, maybe not worth Amare but Traylor and Palacio added in really made it worth it....Palacio's stats this sim were...

17.4 points
3.2 assits
3.5 rebs
1.5 steals
.5 blocks

Palacio is showing some promise as a good young wing player to go along with Kobe and Mercer.  His all around game is decent and he can put the ball in the hole.  Hopefully his numbers don't drop off too much when Kobe is inserted into the lineup

Mercer was on fire vs the Bulls, he lit up his old team for 41...
