Well, a little more analysis shows some good defensive basketball.
Jim Finley - 6.8 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 2.3 bpg in 31 mpg. Opponents shot 38% against him. (Exactly what I need from Finley, rebounding and defense. And the combination of Finley and Rubini was able to hold Yao to 8 of 23 shooting)
Don Ruffin - 11.6 ppg, 12.6 rpg, 4.4 bpg, 2.5 spg, in 37 mpg, held opponents to 35% shooting. Mr. Ruffin, sorry I never started you before. Absolutely incredible on defense. If he stays anywhere near these numbers, Emeka might actually have a challenger for DPOY
Dirk Nowitzki - 30 ppg, 7 rpg, 3.9 apg, 1.8 spg and 44% shooting, held opponents to 44% shooting. Dirk, no matter where you play, you are the man. Excellent play at the SF spot, although his percentages could be a bit higher.
Luol Deng - 17 ppg, 6 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.9 spg, 1 bpg in 34 mpg, held opponents to 40% shooting. What a great surprise. Excellent play from Deng at the SG position. Hs ability to defend SG's is a huge bonus for the Warriors.
Kirk Hinrich - 22.1 ppg, 8.9 apg, 6.3 rpg, 1.8 spg, 46% and 54% shooting, held opponents to 36% shooting. The leader of the team for years, now enjoying being 2nd offensive fiddle to Nowitzki. Scoring is up, and assists are slightly down as a 2nd option this year. Has to be a top 3 point guard in the league right now.
And Phillip Rubini, Granville Arande, Dean Springs, Daniel Holt, and Posey played well off the bench, giving the Warriors 17 ppg, 16 rpg, 5 apg and 3 spg from the bench. You're still one of the most hardworking GM i know, even back when Jemagee was our commish. I have no time to compute all those stats. I've been doing that for the last 20 sims, except more in depth, and noone has ever commented on it Nobody likes me....

Nice 3-1 sim with the young guys getting serious minutes. Benched Jefferson who is on his way out. Started Uner & Schabinger in the backcourt. First game jitters resulted in the only loss.
Then beat the Kings twice (once with Hoffa) and the Wolves. Shot 46.6%, 47.5% & 44.1% in the 3 wins....52.6%, 60.0%, 72.7% from behind the arc while averaging 15 attempts per game. Also had some of my best games ever as far as turnovers: 10, 6, 7.
Uner: 16 ppg, 9.3 apg, 6.0 rpg, 1.5 to, 47%FG, 60% 3PT Schabinger: 11.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.8 spg, 65.5%FG in only 24 minutes

Just thought I should mention that Petit (aka Mike) won't let the Nets lose to anybody in the playoffs, not to mention Emeka inside. I'd like to think the Hawks could clip in as an 8 seed and knock them off , but I don't see anybody in the east or west beating them in 7

yep, they are the best on paper, but who knows, maybe Dirk wants revenge and the Warriors will make a run at them, or even the Pacers, led by Marion and JO could knock them off early. some other stuff about the Nets we can get into later (trade not accepted) may be fun to discuss.

Oh, I don't know, ask the Sonics if I'm unbeatable. or the Jazz.
BTW, I think the top 4 teams are: Nets Hornets Pacers Warriors
In no particular order then the next group I have nuggets and clippers.
So I don't think the West is 2x stronger.

The Nets and Hornets now dominated this league for some time, i'm glad some fresh teams like the Warriors - the only West team i give a legit chance to go all the way - and Nuggets are coming up now. (yes i know the Clippers also had great regular seasons for some time now, but that came by virtue of playing so many mediocre western team. One team HAD to have a great record even in the West) So keep it up, western guys, we need you ...

The east is more top heavy than the west but overall the west might be slightly better, but the Hornets and Nets have dominated the league for a while but I really like the Pacers as a contender in the east this year and in the west, I think a few teams, Clippers and Nuggets might be a piece away from the title, but the Warriors and I like the Wolves (but I always have) are both ready now to make runs
