Talk about top heavy. I don't think there's any question who the #1 draft pick will be.

Wow... Tyler is the best big to come out in the draft so far.
It's a shame the rest of the class is not even close to his ability.

Can someone explain to me the underachieving/overachieving theory? I'm not really sure how that worked...

It's a shame the rest of the class is not even close to his ability. I love it. Last year we had a nice, deep draft. There are a lot of players whom will be fighting out for the top C, or the top pg. There could have been some mistakes, some sleepers. This year, there's a superstar and a lot of mediocrity. the drafts are different, and I like it. Still a little pg deep, but overall much better.

Bah, both of my picks just became useless.
Very top heavy draft.

I disagree on the draft not being deep. There are some interesting guys out there at all the positions. There are certainly some guys who are going to be undervalued due to their FBB ratings, but there are some steals to be had, IMO, if you look closely at the FBCB ratings and use those as projections.

On the first glance, I can count only 17 players worth drafting.

Let's just hope that your first glance is better than it was for lorenzo ellis Jerk. Hey, he wasn't the worst 6th pick of all time. Bad, but not the worst. You're damn lucky I didn't get the 2nd pick instead of the 3rd pick in that draft. I wouldn't have been giving up Petit. But of course, if I had had the first pick, it would have been Tanner, as I'm sure everyone else felt that way at the time.

Oh, I'm just giving your a hard time. Had I been in that spot I would have taken Mason Mercer for his "true" pg ability. Oh, he would have annoyed the hell out of me. The first 10 turnover game he had he would have been out th door.
and that was before Mason had that huge TC. Can you imagine Mercer at 12 ppg with 5 turnovers per? Lord. I wanted him because I thought he could be a floor general.
But yeah, Tanner was a universal #1 pick. Hawks, you, me, everyone would have taken him #1. And he's turned out good, albeit flawed.
What's funny is that I was putting Pettit down before the draft. I don't think anyone bought it, but I was saying how an undersized 2 guard with B defense couldn't be a franchise player without improvement. But that was before the draft lottery.
