Marion - 35/10 with 1.8 spg, 1.3 bpg Livingston - 15/11/7 with 4 spg Yeah, and Pavel is averaging 5 bpg. Yeah man, I just haven't gotten enough games in for them to be counted among the league leaders. Evidently Shawn and Shaun love the fast pace. Individual stats are fun, but it looks like there are 2 teams that are better than me in the East.

Decent 4-4 Sim.
Beat the Heat twice and Mavs & Raps once each.
Trevor Wells picked up where he left off last year averaging 24.1ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.6apg & 2.6spg while shooting good percentages.
Mike Sweetney has been a machine so far, averaging 14.1ppg and 12.3rpg while shooting 57.7% from the field (2nd best in the league)
Ruiz has done a good job at C, averaging 10.4rpg.
Miles (despite his horrible TC) has been distributing better than a year ago at 7.8apg to only 2.3tpg.

ok here we go: first game against the jazz, JO went down after 4 mins! with an injury - still managed to win it behind melos 40 and Fosters 22 next game a loss against the nets: Melo 34 and Foster with 20/21 against emeka what is going on here???? maybe there is some thruth that you don´t only choose players as option but also their replacements? third game a very poor outing against the suns but thanks to melos 34 i could manage to win it. fourth another close game against the cavs with melo 30 and foster 18/10 next game against the 76ers: despite melos 30 timmy destroyed my pfs foster scored 15 in 21mins monroe in 18 mins 12 but with no more bigs sedran had to play some mins there a blowout out by the nets but foster still managed to play even against emeka with 14/17 after that game JO returned but only played 21 mins against the magic (can´t see any reason why?) so another loss for my team last game against the rockets now for the first time in this sim my team was at full strength and it showed. JO had possible the best passing performance of any big man ever 34/11/10 and 0 TOs.... artest 27 and melo 24 so i am still 4-4 since melo had the chance to prove that he can be a first option

Once again the Spurs start off the season brutally, which again gets me excitied since I have their pick. Last year they started 0-5 and still made the playoffs though.
And man, has Shaq ever regressed.

3-3, with little luck could have gone 4-2, but not bad, i'm satisfied.
Rockets 100-121 Telf 27
Rockets 103-104 Russell 26,Al 22/11,Schultz 18/6/3/3,Telf 14/6/9/2
Jazz 104-98 Schultz 18,Russell 17,Telf 14/3/12
Warriors 108-104 Russell 27,Moiso 12/18, Schultz 16/12/5, Buehler added 12 rebs
Suns 96-90 Schultz 23/9/5,Telf 23/5/9
Celtics 95-116 Telf 18/4/6, Juan 18/12,Schultz 17/6/4.....
What i most liked after this 1st sim is that my starting 5 plus Harrington had played all games pretty even, all with double digits always, Buehler needs more minutes tough, 8.3rebs in just 23mpg is quite impressive for 6'6'' PF, Houbregs defense also improved since moving him to SF, just like his outside did when i moved him to SG last season, this time tough his outside didnt change, but Buehler's defense did so he'll be back on SF altough playing PF.

Big Z was doing his things as an non-option, have to put him in there somehow, Luke Jack finally gets a chance to start and put up 21/6/3. Went 4-4 with poor FG%.

Quick take of sim1: 8-0 looks certainly nice, but I'm well aware I didn't play top competition this time. Leading the league with 111.6ppg (on 51%) is nice, too, but also leading the league in OPPONENT scoring at 89.9ppg (on 41%) makes me much much happier ! And my guys take care of the rock again, below 12 topg. Individually, Jefferson did display some skills that might earn him more starting roles this season. Gasol went down midways through the first sim (after having a somewhat subpar start - at least compared to whats expected of him after his great TC), but I didn't miss a beat as Booth stepped in and just did what he does best - defending and rebounding. Lenard, well you all admired his offense enough already in this thread, but what I like best about him were lines like that in the process: Drew Fox SF 26 1-6 1-2 2-2 2 1 4 1 1 0 5 Donta Smith SF 42 0-7 0-2 0-2 1 1 2 1 1 1 0 (yes he made Donta even miss from the charity stripe) So whats next? Tougher sims, so much is certain, but at least my great team proved that last seasons success wasn't just a "ride on a high wave" but indeed seems to prove we belong ...

I am satisfied with the 2-2 record as I am playing around with different line-ups and settings... But WOW, Michael Redd is playing AMAZING... He is giving me 26.8 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 3.3 APG, .538 FG%, .524 3pt% in only 33 MPG... Those rebounding #'s are amazing for a SG and his overall stats lead me to believe(more) that letter rating don't mean shit... Hopefully he can stay on this tear, and I can find a winning line-up...

If you look deeper into that it's even more amazing: sure he got the nice % mainly against Q (most of us here could shoot better than 50% against Q), but afterwards he actually OUTPLAYED some of the better defenders in Wade, TMac and Ginobili, and did it on BOTH ends of the floor. Truly amazing ...

JO went down and foster stepped in and played like he thought he was an option. Is it possible if a players is going down because of injury his replacement will be assigned the role?

I think it does. When Dwight was down, Woods average around 18ppg - Woods played his position. Dwight was 2nd option back then.

Disappointing start...but Spurs seem to start slow every year. Tried a few things differently...Allen was a non-option. Parker as top option avg 10 assts and 2.2 to. But he shot 38%. Russell shootin 54.8% from the field and 55% from the arc. Just doesn't take enough shots even as a second option. He held superstar Leonard to 26pts on 38% shooting in our loss to the Celtics. Rebounding which was a strength last year hurt me....ended up -2.2 on the boards. Big reason was Thomas who improved rating wise in TC but dropped 4.6 rebs in average. Uner looks like a great pickup - 5.2pts, 3.2 assts, 1.3 stls, 0.8 to in just 13 minutes.
