Antonio Lenard...wow.

Wish that I still had him.  However, Lenard got me Boykins, which got me Dirk, which got me a championship.  Can't really complain.

Yeah, Lenard is....well, wow.

The funny thing is, he acquired Gasol to be the #1 option his team lacked.  Gasol's 5th on the team in scoring, turns out he had his #1 option buried deep behind Vladimir Radmanovich.

How do you mean a fluke?

Lenard was scoring over 1 pt every 2 minutes before this year.  He just never got the time.   Last year as a starter he got like 25 ppg.

I mean like it's a game of chance sometimes.

No one could have predicted that Lenard would be scoring 31 ppg. Therefore, the unexpected happened.

3-3 Sim.

Dirk was Dirk.  29.5 PPG, 12.3 RPG
English was English.  22.3 PPG, 10.2 APG, 4.3 RPG

Some minor changes should turn this team into a chamionship contender again.

By the way, my 16-game (in the playoffs) win streak was stopped on the first day of the season.

Lenard was a #8 pick that never got playing time.  Last year when he started he scored like 25 ppg.

I don't consider that a fluke, I consider that under-utilized talent.  Noone predicted Michael Redd's explosion, that doesn't mean it was a fluke.

What it does show you is that 5 letter rating categories don't tell you everything.  But Lenard has scored at an extremely fast rate his entire career.

BTW, I doubt Lenard maintains 31 ppg.

Very happy with Dean Drew.  22/5/4 on 48/94/46 %'s (in 8 games)

Griffin averaging 17/9/3 with 2 bog and 1 spg as a 3rd option.

Hinkle is averaging 6.5 rpg which is pretty damn good for a swing man, along with 2.3 spg

Beat the Clippers, Sixers, Magic (twice), Lakers and Wolves .  Lost against the Kings and Jazz

Shucks, 2-4. Blew out the Hawks, beat Wizards by two, get blown out by the Hawks. Then Pettit goes off for 50, but it's against Keogan, so it's no surprise. My team had the firepower, though, to only lose by 8. Even had the lead going into the 4th. Then two very close losses, by 1 to the Pacers and by 3 to the Hornets. Those games hurt. Despite the losing record, I think my team can do well this year...

Brice was impressive coming off the bench. shooting above .500 with 1.3 steals in 13 minutes of action. Very Happy

he just earned his playing time.

Impressive how Josh Howard lead the team in rebounds against the Knicks with 18. With Dwight just being able to grab down 12.

Interesting how money works for Josh. Very Happy

Ernest Profit with 1.5 blocks. haha

5-4 record, interesting results...
Ruffin is a top shotblocker, that is for sure.

Team just got hammered on the boards, down by 4 rpg to my opponent.
Last year I was even or better, so Finley may be a better rebounder then his B- shows.
Did have Kobe out for 6 games, but Springs played brilliantly in his place.

Hmm...  Might try my original lineup next.

Hinrich is playing brilliantly, righ where he left off last year.

Lenard and Ruffin are two nice surprises.

They've only played 4 games, but daaaamn, look at the Hornets individual stats:

Marion - 35/10 with 1.8 spg, 1.3 bpg
Livingston - 15/11/7 with 4 spg

A decent 3-4 sim for me.  I think I finally found a good point in Sandy Carter who is averaging 6.9 asts/2.6to's which I will gladly take.  I think Dickman might challenge Bolinger for rookie of the year, 14 pts and 14.7 rebs and 2.1 blks. Those are some beastly numbers by Dickman.  The biggest problem with my team is not being able to shoot which I attribute to the youth of my team.  No dissapointed yet but it's not hard to start one game under .500, it's tough for my teams to stay at that level.
