He's not a top PG, obviously.

And he turns the ball over a ton.

But he's a capable scorer, a capable defender.

The thought of onlt offering your MLE to someone wh would start for you is outraeously stupid. It doesnt work. MLE players are way too often Eddie House type guys, trust me, I know.

Francis is a great MLE signing.

I agree with Celtics.  There are just some guys I'd be fearful of playing.  Stevie was one of them.  Efficiency isn't one of his strong suits.  It takes him a lot of shots to get his 11 ppg (1.07 pps), and a lot of touches to get his 5.5 apg (barely over a 1.5/1 a/to ratio).  I'm not so sure those touches wouldn't be better going somewhere else.  I think the Jazz probably feel the same.

Songaila is a nice addition. Nothing special, but an all around decent player that can contribute off the bench.

You must have mistaken my remark, i was referring to your considerations of starting Francis.

But I also disagree. You can get a starter with an MLE, there's always place for the Eddie Houses in the league on many teams. Guys like TMac and Yao could probably play with three of them starting ...
