Just wondering who people think will be the first player to retire and go in the HOF (I believe in FBB you go into the HOF immediately upon retirement).

Shaq gets my vote.  24/12 should get him in, esp. with 1 championship.

Jason Kidd would be my #2 condidate.  Does Ben Wallace make it when he retires, with a championship, playoff MVP, 4 all defensive teams and a DPOY?  Garnett obviously will make it, but he's probably got a good 5-6 years left before he retires.

Malone?  Karl?  No, he only played 1 year (I believe).  This doesn't take into effect stats put up in the real NBA prior to FBB, just the stats put up while a part of the league.

The fun would be players pulling a "Bison Dele" and retiring for whatever reason you can think of.

Image the suspense after each playoffs if a Nowitzkis or even English decides he wants to hang the sneakers up on top of his career and pursue other options in life ...
... and avoid becoming the Chris Webbers of this league, guys who simply missed the right point retiring !

Now would a Nowitzki have a chance to our SSBA HOF carrying the Sonics to a 16-0 playoff run ?

Sure, why not. Not that any of them has even a 0.001% chance of making the HOF, but why not suddenly hang em up? If it's my guys, well, kismet !

Guys, these players make millions and millions of $$. At least I knew what to do after some seasons and a bank account like Chris Webbers ...
 Cool

The first to retire of Shaq (36), Kidd (35) or Wallace (34).  Duncan, KG & Yao should all eventually make it but should play longer than the first three listed.
