The trading deadline created some interesting situations in the Wsetern Conference Playoff push.  Starting at the top.

1.  Los Angeles Clippers - they have been tops in the playoffs since day one.  They were practically invincible with Brand in the lineup, and he is coming back this next sim after a long injury layoff.  Home court advantage will be their's throughout  the Western Conference Playoffs.

2.  Memphis Grizzlies - The Grizzlies have made a nice run after the All-Star break to move up to the 2nd spot in the Conference,  led by the strong play of Rashard Lewis and Jason Wiliams, who are both having their best years as pro's this year.  Only one game up on the Utah Jazz at this point.  Could end up anywhere from 2nd to 4th by season's end.

3. Utah Jazz - 2nd in the division to the Grizzlies by one game. Some big lineup changes from out champions from last year.  Only 13-12 since the All-Star break, but this team typically turns it on in the playoffs.  They have a chance to get the 2nd spot, but have t watch out for the Sonics, who are close on their heels.

4.  Seattle Supersonics - Wow can this team score.  The Sonics have been hot lately, and seem to be playing better with Peja on the injured list.  They are comfortably in the 4th spot in the conference,  and are only 1 game away from the 3rd spot.  With English and Dirk leading the way, this team lives or dies by their shooting.  And they have been winning quite a bit lately.
