Well, I was hesitant about doing this trade. Had to bite when Kings cut it from two picks to one that I trade. With this deal I lose my cap space, but it was unknown as to whether I would have been able to get a player of Gooden's caliber this upcoming free agency. Gooden is a great addition to the team. And I still have 7 picks next year...

Remember, when you offered a S&T for Gooden to me? I told you some day BEFORE you gave him that contract that I strongly believe that no way Drew is worth max money (and still believe) and since you got rid of him, did he actually help any team (Rockets, Kings) winning more games?
 

I still like the deal for the Cavs too, since 1) the didn't give up a lot to get him (no way this pick would bring something better than Drew) and 2)they have the focal scorers to take the load of him and he's best in a supporting role ... but you hardly pay max money for a 4th man !
