Hehe, Commish must be out of his mind. Emeka didn't make the All Star Team. Yeah. Well, that was my fault. 2 sims before the all-star game I moved him to PF, where the best player in the game is currently playing (Tim Duncan). 37.6 vs. 35.2 15.2 vs. 14.5 3.2 vs. 2.6 51.6% vs. 49.4% But yes, 11-25 vs. 23-19

Looks like Dean Springs was the starting sophmore SG over Gatling. Of course, Springs being unselfish took 1 shot in 29 minutes while Gatling took 18 shots in 19 minutes.

Emeka was still listed as C so he had a matchup against Yao and JO and lost. For the Allstar Break only the current position listed in the roster is used not the position he played. f.ex.: Melo played SG but was an ALLstar SF JO played PF but was listed at C etc.... Normally Emeka would have made the Allstar since the drop after Yao at C in the east is so big that he is automatic the second best but with JO this year listed as C he had a challenge for the first time ever.

2-4 sim...about what I expected. Adding new players always upsets the status quo. Also all 6 were road games. Lost a by 2 to the Jazz, by 6 to the Heat, beat the Clippers & Rockets. Lost big to the Hornets & Magic...the latter getting me into a running game that I didn't want.

Antonio Lenard is a legit #2 option (at worst). Scored 20 or more points in every game this sim. Oh so sweet these words ... ... Still, I'll take a 16 game winning streak anytime. Might get to 19 before you face Sonics and Pacers in consecutive games. And if even that fails the Celts will keep it from reaching 30 ... Can someone explain to me how 5'5" 130 lb Earl Boykins gets 10 rebounds to get a triple double? Huh? One word: positioning ... eddy curry and vlad was worth pau gasol... celtics went 4-2 with pau in the line up ...so i guess everything worked out right with our trades Now if this kid could only do it EVERY game instead of every other ... ... and also against better competition than Sweets, Boykins, Okur, Mihm and Zach ... ... I would have loved to keep him. But I guess he'll get much better in his career.

Now how in the world of SSBA did TRENT DENCH and DARIUS PARRY get the assignment on PG for the Sophs ? Rocky Elliott averages more assists (5.9) than these two TOGETHER and was a starter in all but one sim (29mpg). Dench at least scores nicely since being starter but Parry started exactly 6 games and averages 15mpg. This is a joke !!! No wonder the Soph's got their ass kicked big time ...

Yeah, I was pretty pissed that those two made it over Andy Miles. Miles is averaging 14.6ppg, 5.9apg & shooting 46.1% from the field in 31.6mpg.

I had a rough schedule. Some tough teams and all but one on the road. So I thought a 2-4 record was bad.... until I found out Elton Brand got injured for 48 days... that's when I knew what is really bad. I am thinking about some options now. I might consider trading him. We will see.

Damn, Miles should have been a lock there. I believe the problem lies in the FBB coding. The program vastly overvalues steals, blocks and turnovers. I noticed that with the PotG awards: I'ver seen it countless time that a guy with much less pts, reb and ass - even in combination of these - can win the award if he gets like 2 stl, 2 blk and no TOs. So the only reason Perry (and Dench over Miles) got in this game would be TO/Ass ratio. In retrospect I'm glad Elliott wasn't part of this debacle. Can't be too godd for the morale of these young guys. But it also proves we had a heck of a draft class in 2009 ...

Guys, all-star games are WORTHLESS
especially rookie/soph.
When playing this program recreationally, I've seen guys make a rookie/soph team while being FREE AGENTS AND NEVER PLAYING A GAME.
worthless, completely.
