Ah, well that makes a little more sense. In the 2 games I lost, Emeka wasn't starting, because I had taken him out when he got injured. quote] huh?... he played something like 35 mins against me and the other two games he had 5 fouls in 17 mins once and the other he played 29 mins with 4 fouls but back to my sim possible the best offensive sim of my career here in ssba. still lost the sim 2-4 Had a tough loss against the nets because i couldn´t reb and Foster who is hitting his FT this year went 0-4 and i lost with 1... JO avg. 27/!!/& and almost 4blks he missed a triple double against the nets with 1 ass Artest avg. 22/6/6 shooting 50% from the field an 70% from the arc. Carmelo avg. 26/5/4 also shooting great 48% and 44% parker stepped in for fisher and showed his talent but fisher is still the better player at the moment cato is finding his rythem avg. 11/12 and 1.5 blks and shooting 54% not bad for a C inside So why did i loose 4 games. I can´t undersstand it... I had against most teams a better % got only outrebonded once and didn´t turn the ball over enough to explain it. only reason is for the moment: i am shooting less than my opp. in some games i am taking 10 shots less. why? i don´t know yet

some more infos: i am currently the best passing team of the league leading in ass and top 10 in TO nice for a team with a pg with C handles...(and some gms consider this a weak point for my team ) I am also leading in FG% second in FGM but avg. 6 FG less than the nets for example I am second in FT% also avg.less att. than most of the stronger teams i am top 5 in 3pt% avg so view attempts that i am almost last in that cat. i am also top 3 in opp.reb allowed but i am not forcing enough TO of my opp. so the fact is i am outscoring my opp. by 6, outrebounding them by 3 outpassing them by 2 and shot better than them and still can´t win.

Lots of TOs too. vs.. Nets: Got outrebounded big time, still tough 1pt loss, possibly on a putback dunk from Emeka at the buzzer (Trent Lo holding JO down?) All in all different reasons each time. Parker starting at PG didn't exactly improve your chances there and Ron stopping to defend did the rest. Still, you'll be o.k.

dude.....manu isnt worth the 2 picks you gave..you should see it by now...your team would maybe end up in the lottery or the best in the middle of the standing.....
i on the otherhand is very happy to be losing...my pick would be valuable...
dude, Manu was worth everything I gave (which was one pick, the other was a swap of future 1sts). He's not my problem (holding guys like Arenas to 11 and Schenk to . And I sure didn't get him to be a scorer, defense is what I got Manu for (with decent offense and few TOs) ... Believe me, as long as i lead the league in fg% defense (ups, i'm just #3 now) i'm fine. The offense will come ... I don't mean to grill you about this, because you've been grilled enough. I just want to ask yo if you honestly believe what you just said. If you do, that's cool, Im not here to rip you. Since you got Manu you're 3-8. You didn't get him for his offense, yet you are last in the league in ppg. And your current pick is #1.

Well, I have to say... Going 4-3 in this sim was what I was hoping for, even with Hinrich. And since he got injurd in the first game, I am happy with my team's performance. No way I can keep up with the Clips without Kirk, so those losses are not surprising. And then Splitting the series with the Sixers was good, beat them handily at home and lo0st to them by one on the road. Was also able to beat the Heat, and the best part, was being able to beat the Nets. Kareem Longley did a decent job as my starting SG, and the slow pace definitely halped Araujo. Mark Bird played well in Hinrich's place... Not very good shooting, but handled the ball well, and set up his teammates. Even without Hinrich, still have a nice offensive combination of Araujo, Pierce, and Stromile. Just hope this team can at least stay within playoff striking distance until Hinrich returns...

If you do, that's cool, Im not here to rip you. Since you got Manu you're 3-8. You didn't get him for his offense, yet you are last in the league in ppg. And your current pick is #1. Hey guys, just to let you know I have no problem getting ripped. none at all. I think thats what makes playing these leagues so much fun. You always have controversy and different opinions and I just love to beat the odds ... And YES, I do believe what I say. I got Manu to be decent offense (12-13ppg - he's underachieving there) and great defense. I'm 3-8 with him, so what. He does what I got him for. (But I also agree, I might be 6-5 with Van Exel there, if he explodes on offense, who knows?) Let me try for an explanation: Just last season I got 93ppg on 43% shooting. The opponent got 96ppg on 44% shooting and I nearly won half of my games. Returning the same team, with an offensively improved Curry and Al (both B+ now) - while losing no offense anywhere - I expected a slight increase in production there. Defense has been up-n-down last year so I got a great defender with a little more offense than the 8ppg I got from Nick. Now what happened: I hold opponents to 96ppg on 42% shooting (both getting better by each game after some early season lineup "inconsistencies"). Outlook: mission will be accomplished. And on offense I mysteriously fall to 88ppg on 40% shooting. And now tell me thats the fault of Manu ... Outlook: Offense will get back on track and some minor changes will push me back up again in the standings, too. It might be too late for the playoffs since a quarter of the season is gone by, but then again I'll try as hell to do it (for the first time). Basically there was no way I was viewing myself as a lotto team (I attributed that first 1-6 sim to a bad assembled lineup). So giving up a pick #15 - which we learned is useless for the next 2 seasons - and Mr. Turnover Dre Miller for a Ginobili was a wise move. And since I think Gino has something left in him far beyond this season I still would do it. The much more interesting question is who I would be better off with at this position: TMac, Petitt, Marion, Kobe, Carmelo, Vince, Hughes, Arenas, Lewis, Q, Wade, Ron, Gatling. This is my shortlist for "better than Ginobili overall". Would I have gotten any of these for my pick (even now) and Dre Miller (add at least 8mio salaries for most). Definitely not. I had to give a LOT more and I mean A LOT in the sense of "robbing me of my only strength depth". So that's why I call this move I made good.

Yeah, I totally understand that reasoning. I just like to hear an explanation from some teams as it's cool to see how other GM's view things.
