So if I understand you correctly....
What you currently list as 2010 preview will be deleted.
The 2011 preview will replace the 2010 one when it is completed after sim 6.
In the future the draft preview will always be available after sim 6.
This allows for us to "drill down" and see what draft prospects actually did in college by ratings as well as boxscores.
If this is the correct interpretation then I'm ok with it. I don't spend a lot of time analysing the draft until the last half of the season anyway.

Barring a disaster (cross your fingers with pierce lol), you shouldn't have a top pick.
I'm more worried about the guys at the top of the draft.

That is correct. and before sim 6 you could still follow the college progression, just without knowing exactly which guys have declared and will be in the draft.

I'm more worried about the guys at the top of the draft. Lol... Hinrich or Araujo season ending injury = no playoffs for me... lol The box scores would come in handy when a tough decsion is at hand between two players. Hey, I actually have a pick this year. Having the more detailed scouting report on the players (abilites broke out) is very handy when you are looking for role players. Possibly more important then when you are lookgin at the top 5. So, the potential is the players potential at that spot for the year? I assume those can change from year to year?

Actually, the potential for each attribute is the best a player can perform, not how much he can improve.
So if a guy has more potential than his current rating is, he has room for improvement. If he's an old guy with a good coach and still isn't improving, it might be a concern that he's an underachiever. If he's a young guy with room for improvement, he just may need time. If he's overachieving, it could be becuase of a good coach, and he's not likely to improve that area of his game much more.

Let's look at Charles Treat, a Washington Huskie. His passing is already an A+, yet his potential is an A. Since he obviously can't improve anymore than an A+, does the individual category potential also indicate maintaining current levels? What I mean is, besides being an indicator of improvement, does the potential also indicate that a player will maintain his level of performance for the near future?

All potential shows is the max his ability to perform that task is. If current production is higher than his ability, than he's overachieving. I'd guess the likelihood of him maintaining the ability would be little, since it's hard to continually overachieve.

http://www.fbbgames.com/forum/Might be a good resource for some, since this is the first time I've used the program as well and it's the only way I have to learn.

Yeah, but potentials don't have plus or minuses to them, so how can you know that the A+ means he's overachieving? Similarly, if a guy has an A- rating with an A potential, by what you wrote, he'd be underachieving.
I understand what you're saying, but I don't think it fully answers my question.
We can all tell that a guy with a C+ rating and a B potential is most likely going to improve; similarly, a guy with a B+ rating and D potential is going to see a drop in production.
I'll check out that forum to see if it explains this any more, so I don't have to keep bugging you with questions.

Ah, gotcha. I wasn't even thinking of potentials not having a +.
I don't know if potential has any indication on whether he will maintain that level.

From what I've seen there's one player who is far and away my favorite. Take a look at the Stanford Cardinal SG Clint Brooks , he appears to be a beast

He certainly looks like an offensive beast.
How is a C perimeter defense (PRD) going to translate to the pro's, though? Can he be anything more than a Glenn Robinson (real life)?

Is the 2010 draft preview being replaced? I'm asking if anyone would object to me replacing the 2010 draft with an fbcb replaced one, yes.
