just some general musings.

It's always funny to see how different gm's value different players.  Let's just say there's one player getting a 1 year minimum offer from one team, and a 6 year, 58 million $ offer from another.

Then the hawks crack me up.  Not because any of their requests are out of line, but the precision he goes on.  He'll ask for 10% raises on one contract, then the next guy will be 6%, then the next guy 7%.  It's just funny.

Lol...  When you have 25 million to play with, and the best free agent class coming next year, makes free agent decision pretty interesting...  Smile

That is a pretty big difference. i wonder who the player is?

and next year is a huge year for free agents, someone with cap room is going to have a chance to make a killing next year on the free agents

Can't really say I'm that surprised, because I wouldn't be surprised if some GM's look only at ratings and not at stats.

Look at guys like Collier and Donta Smith. Not the greatest ratings, but both put up great numbers.

Ah, i'm  at work on my lunchbreak dreaming.

Dreaming of any team trying to stop a perimeter attack of Gordon and Pettit.  Dreaming of my top 3 options being 24 or younger and scoring a combined 65 ppg.  Dreaming of my entire starting 5 being A defenders or better.

dreaming of leading the league in 3 pointers made (yes, I think I'd make more than Sonics, because guards typically take more than forwards, Pettit takes more attempts than Peja and Gordon more than Dirk).

Unfortunately I'm going to have to wake up eventually Sad
