Sometimes I hate the way I've built my team.

I'm a backup SF/SG away from having the complete team. So I CAN'T make trades.

When you're winning at a 77% clip, it's impossible to think that a trade would be a good idea.

I've only made one trade since the Yao/Peja for Gooden/Boozer deal, and that was the Cato deal in which I didn't give up anything.

If I were to win the Championship this year, I might consider trying something different next year.

Goldenstate:
Miller droped at PF on D
Mcgrady droped on handle
Gooden droped from A defense at SF to A-
Pietrus droped from A- to B+ on defense
Kevin Stankovic, my only backup PG at that time, lost on handle

...and to make things more horrible, the only one who went up was Francis for whom i had deal (Marbury). I said before, i wasn't concerned at all on any other aspect except defense. And 3 of my starters went down on D. Confused

Do you have any idea how hard it is for me, the King of Trades, to not make any?

It's like quitting smoking but a 100x worse Wink

GoldenState: you weren't around from the beginning?  You've been posted since Feb 8th, which was sim 2 of season 1.

Sundays not the day decisions are due, but the day I send them out.

I think I may be your competition for the King of Trades. But I don't think that that is really something to brag about... Question

I missed the opening free agency...  I was signed up, but just did not know it was starting...  The beginning was probably the biggest trading frenzy ever, and I missed out on the fun Smile

Well, Sunday is a big day for me...  The future of the Franchise is at stake.  Will Araujo and Swift stick around?  Will they be a dominant frontcourt for the next 5-6 years together? Stay tuned...

Hmm, since Araujo is obviously Batman, and Swift is Robin, while Hinrich I would day is Alfred (always setting them up), would that make Iggy Batgirl?   Probably should not mention that in salary negotiations with him.   Razz

But at their natural positions, Miller was even and Gooden was better.

I'm not talking about just quantity, I'm also talking about quality.

No offense, but I've done alot more for my team than you have for yours. I've turned a crappy team into the SSBA's best team in history.

How was your initial team crappy?
Your initial team would be really quite good right now...
Rafer at point, a pretty decent PG...
Carter at SG, one of the better in the league...
??? at SF, have no idea who started (guessing MoPete???)
Bosh at PF...  while never getting to what I thought he would be, he is a decent player
And of course, the Brazillian Beast, Araujo...

That's a playoff team, imo...

No depth.

And it was Donyell at SF.

It was pretty bad.

Decisions come out right at the end of the regular season adn are due at the end of the postseason, so we can go right into draft.

And yes, the Raptors were anything but crappy.   I was crappy.  I had no cap room (well, technically, i had just over the MLE), and zoran planninic, Alonzo Mourning and Rodney Buford in my starting lineup, i think.  And Jefferson (my 2nd best player) was a B- defensively.

3 straight 52 win seasons coming up Wink

I see you forgot to mention the 2nd best player in the league, Jason Kidd... Wink

Not sure who would get the best rebuild crown...
