Sixers receive the better player, but neither player was playing at all this season so this was just a deal to improve our respective depths...the added advantage for the sixers is that Declerq's contract expires, the advantage I see is having a B+ outside shooter that has a better shot of playing IMO than Declerq who I did not plan on resigning after this year...if i get anyone better than Korver in the draft or free agency next season, i can still always release him as the contract is going to count against me either way I go about it. Besides...I don't see myself balancing my checkbook anytime soon

lol my bad, i was thinking declerq was 3.360 mil and even though that number still doesn't work when I eyed it up I thought it was enough leeway
