Most improved player/Surprise player has got to be Vlad Radmanovich.  20 ppg over doubles his averages in, get this, almost a minute less per game!  Career 43.5% shooter shooting 48%.  Career 9 ppg scorer scoring 20.2.  Career 1.9 apg getting 3.8.  Are you kidding me?

I trade Vlad, he explodes.  I trade Gordan, he explodes.  I trade Chandler, he explodes.  I trade Barry, he explodes.  I trade Deng, he explodes.  I trade Hinrich, he explodes (although I got Mercer because of it so I can't complain). I trade the number one pick for Darko, he gets crappier.

I'm senseing an unusual pattern here Laughing

lol.  in your defense, it's not like Vlad exploded immediatley after you traded him.

And you've had your share of explosions (Mercer, Pierce, Griffin, although griffin a bit slowly).

Thats true, although from time to time I wonder how my original team would have done (Curry, Chandler, Deng, Gordan, Hinrich).  What Gordan has done is amazing, wasn't he C+ defense when he was on my team?  Now he's A...

Lol, it's Gordon.  O.  You've been doing it since before sim 1 year 1, too Smile

Yeah, he was a C+ defense.  There's just no way to predict that.

I have traded away some of the better young SF's in this league...
Dunleavy, Vlad, and Deng have all been Warriors at one time or another...

Yeah, Deng being on 4 teams in 4 years is odd.   I mean, that's like mopete territory.  But he's good!

I do not think anyone had ever made Vlad an option before.
Then again, when he was with me, he was a C B+ offensive player.  Did not deserve it.

Good job by the Celtics scouting department Wink

I made him an option a few times, did nothing special.

On this topic, what were Araujo's ratings when he was on the Raps?

In his first year, he was
B+, C, D+, B, B-, with an F potential
now
A-, C, D+, B+, A-, with B potential

Deng, in his first year, put up decent numbers, but had low abilities.
After he went up 4 abilities, he had good stats, and put up bad numbers (about 41% and 34% for me, I think)

I traded him for VC to the Raps, who traded him to the Hornets for Baron Davis, who traded him to Seattle for Shaq (I think)
He has been traded for some good players.

Talkin about F to B potential, look at Luke Jackson. He has improved maybe a total of 5 ratings. Damn, I gave him up just to get rid of a contract for an expiring, for cap space that I would end up losing anyway.
