Went 5-2, with 6 games on the road against some pretty good teams (lost in Dallas by 3 in OT, and by 1 in Houston). Team is really hitting on all cylinders. Take away the 2-5 Posey at PF start (like Godfather III, it never happened ), and the Nuggets are 13-5. I'm very happy with a 5-2 sim with 6 road games. The triumverate of Posey, Carter, and Boykins is really carrying this team.

Went 3-2 with Marbury out for 3 games. Shoulda have been 4 -1 but... Luissetti had couple of good games with Steph out; vs Warriors 10pts, 8 as, vs Heat 9pts, 5as, 5st and vs Bulls 15pts, 9as and 5 steals. This kid can play. Jerome James had couple of great games as well and Mcgrady was unbeliveable as usual. West is brutal this year, 52% and still 2 spots out of the playoffs

1-6 sim for the Celtics. Have to check the numbers but not all is bad. Close losses to Heat, Clippers, Warriors and Cavs and a blowout loss to the Mavs (despite AJ outplaying Dirk). The Spurs continue to have my number, too, taking the season series from me. Curry is needed, I found out. On offense and, interesting enough, on defense too. So after holding a playoff spot before Sim4, i'm back looking up to the #8 spot again. Still spirits are high ... (STOP, that was LAST season !)

West is brutal this year, 52% and still 2 spots out of the playoffs I went from second to last in the conference to third in one sim. I have only 3 games next sim against the Rockets, Pacers, and Clippers so a lot could still happen.

Hmmm... Apparently, the only reason I am winning games is because my team is a very good at rebounding and boxing out. So far on the season, +4 in rebounding differential... Everything else (FG%, spg, topg, etc) is basically even with my opponents...

Actually, I think the west is mediocre. Lots of good teams, none complete.
I think the East is more dominant.

in sim 3 Booth had stats of: 6.4 ppg, 11.3 rpg, 0.9 apg, 0.7 spg, 3.9 bpg
in sim 4 Booth had stats of: 5.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.1 spg, 4.4 bpg
He has really picked it up defensively this year and if he keeps it up could work his way to some defensive honors if he continues getting steals. Not to mention I really welcome his improvement in rebounding since last year.

I think the East is more dominant. The West has 3 teams under 0.500... The East has 7. No complete teams in the West? What team in the east is complete? Even the Raptors are weak at SG. The Clippers are still one of the scariest teams out there, especially since Gordon and Childress just keep getting better and better... These are not Donald Sterling's Clippers

The West has 3 teams under 0.500... The East has 7. Exactly my point. West is deep, east is top-heavy. But I think the top of the east is better than the top of the west. Raptors and I, IMO, are complete teams. Hornets are pretty damned close. Pacers are very good. I think those 4 teams are as good as anything the west has to offer. That's not even mentioning the magic, who to me are Clippers east.

Anyway, for my sim.
Emeka was amazing...for the 3 games before getting injured. 23.7 ppg, 16.3 rpg, 5.3 bpg, 50% fg. too bad he got injured.
Chauncey played very well. 21.1 ppg, 8.6 apg, 5.1 rpg, 2.4 spg, 44.9%, 48% from 3pt. he seems to be the biggest benificiary from the pace and focus changes.
Pettit with 30.1 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 4.8 apg, 2.2 spg, 46.9% shooting, 42.3% 3pt. Those 2 are scary from the perimeter.
Dalembert with his typical 11.7 rpg and 2.4 bpg.
Battier came back for 2 games, but was woeful offensively.
Dial played decent as a spot starter. 8.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg in 23 mpg. 35 min stats of 13.2/9 and 1.8 blocks.
Very happy with the defensive performance considering Emeka and Shane both missed over half the sim, and Salmons the entire sim. Dalembert held his own defensively at C (opp starting C's shot 39%). And Dial more than held his own when he became the starting pf (opp's 39%). Even billups is playing decent D. Overall opponents shot 42%, 34.9% from downtown. Not bad, considering.
where i hurt the most was rebounding. I was more than +6 per game heading into this sim. This sim I was -2. Ouch. welcome back Emeka.

Well, we shall see... I do not think there have been too many interconference games, but the Clippers ae even with the Raps so far 1-1, both winnng at home. Last 2 Champions are from West. Proof is in the pudding The Raptors come to visit me on day 50. Wonder who will foul out first, Araujo or Yao?

Most improved player/Surprise player has got to be Vlad Radmanovich. 20 ppg over doubles his averages in, get this, almost a minute less per game! Career 43.5% shooter shooting 48%. Career 9 ppg scorer scoring 20.2. Career 1.9 apg getting 3.8. Are you kidding me?
Bounceback player: Vince Carter. +7 ppg this year, 2nd in the league, even better than his first year. Ah, the contract drive (wonder if that happens in a sim, lol).
Biggest disappointment: George Boykins. #2 pick in the draft has appeared in 1 game. It'll be interesting what Seattle does with those pf's, because neither can really play center.
