thanks to nets defense struggels carmelo could show that he will be a great second option next to JO in the future. He shot over 50% from the arc and avg. over 20pts this sim. but to be fair JO had also a monster game against the nets and both sammy and emeka had foul troubles. i should have won all three meetings against the nets but at the last one my team really struggeld from the line. Maybe watching Emeka shooting FTs caused that problem Even with normal pace my team avg. now more than 100 points.

maybe you should check your boxscores... some hint for you check the Pfs stats of your opponents. Nothing special really. For example vs Clippers; Elton Brand 15pts, 4r and Chandler 10pts and 9rebs. Lost the game anyway. Kenyon Martin and KG both had great games but the do against other teams as well. Depth is killing me. Moiso and Louisetti can't match up with my opponents backups, that+s the real problem.

i am not sure but i think last year also the home team lost all 4. In the last two years i had a better away than home record.

On a related note, opposing starting PF's are scoring 19 pts and grabbing 11.5 rebounds per 35 minutes against the kings, shooting 45.6%.
Of course, none of the other positions (outside of sg) are doing much better.

Nuggets go 5-1, which probably means I'll try out my new pace for at least another sim or two. Team is 8-3 since the Posey at PF fiasco in Sim 1. I'm amazed Boykins didn't get a POTW in there somewhere. He had games of 16 assists to 1 TO, and 12 dimes to 0 TO's. His sim 3 averages: 17.7 PPG, 10 APG against only 0.8 TO/PG (for a tremendous 12.5 A/TO ratio ), 4.8 RPG (for a 5'5" D+ point), and 3.2 SPG (a 4/1 steal/TO ratio). Oh, and he also shot 52% from the field and 48% from downtown. Other notes: Posey shot 15/19 (79% ) from three-point land this sim. VC dropped 47 in one game on his way to a 31.2 PPG average. I just can't seem to beat the Clippers. They always seem to knock me off, as they accounted for my lone loss this sim. As a whole, the team averaged 103.7 PPG while holding the 6 opponents to an 84.7 PPG average (+19). Also, the team shot 50% from downtown and 46% overall. This may be a first: SPG were higher than TO P/G; the steal/TO ratio was 1.05 (12.8 SPG vs. 12.2 TO P/G).

Wow, what a mistake it was playing Livingston out of position at the SG spot. I may have cost him an all-star appearance. Here are some of his stat lines from his first sim as my starting PG:
vs. Heat: 16 pts, 10 reb, 10 a, 4 s (but 5 to) (first triple double of his career) vs. Clips: 8 pts, 17 a, 6 s vs. Jazz: 16 pts, 6 rebs, 9 a, and only 1 to vs. Clips: 20 pts, 7 rebs, 17 a, 6 s (but 7 turns) vs. Mavs: 16 pts, 13 a, 4 steals, only 1 turn
Not sure of his averages because I'm lazy.

WOW ... I still can't say if the Celtics are for real, but the first winning sim sure looks sweet. And I also know the combined winning pct of the teams I beat hovers way below .500, but still ... Despite some lineup experiments like giving MoPete a tryout (result undecided), starting AJ (huge success) and moving Geiger to SF (very good) we continued the strong team defense holding opponents to 40% in wins (and 52 in losses So lets continue this run, Celtics !

Dre Mill is starting to play a little bit better for me. He's scoring more, shooting fairly well, even knocking down a couple threes here and there. He just needs to up his assist numbers. So for now, as long as Mill doesn't get traded, Ward is going to have to remain being the understudy...

When Sammy plays 29 or more i'm 10-4. When he plays less I'm 4-5. And in only 2 of those 9 games did he have more than 4 fouls. Gotta figure this one out. He needs to get more time.

Wow... At least Big Jake has stamina... While starting with Araujo out, he played over 40 mpg in every game. Rodney White rebounded well as Turkolgu's replacement, but his 40% shooting and 23% from 3 were harsh, especially with his 2.7 TO's. Hinrich shot well, 50% and 47%, and still got 10+ assists, but my team just cannot win with(out) Araujo.
