Well, I gotta say, as conceted (Sp?) as it may sound, I'm dissapointed at my lack of votes. I was just 1 win away from the finals (acd it was an overtime loss to boot). I think that the Yao trade was one of the best trades that the SSBA has ever seen.

I'm shocked that you didn't win it. I consider the regular season record to be the best indicator of team performance. The playoffs are always a crapshoot.

Yeah, I'm glad to hear you say that. I got feedback that I was GM of the Year from most of the more seasoned GM's, and that makes me happy.

The Celtics got my vote. I did not feel like voting for one of the top teams. They are so close that it is not fair to vote for only one. Like HornetsGM said, you never know what will happen in the playoffs. Voting for one of the top teams, I could vote for many teams (Raps, Nets, Mavs, Jazz,...) and even for myself. Thinking where I came from and looking at the team I have now...

I did not vote for you, but i really respect you for what you did during the past season, but in the poll it only allows for one choice, and i decided to vote for the JazzGM due mostly to his championship win, after making numerious changes throughout the season.

In situations like this where votes may be subjective to different criteria to determine the best(insert person/item here,in this case gm), I wish we had to the option to rank our choices then we can tally the points from there.( 1st place vote =5pts, 2nd place vote 4pts ect.)

this is really just an informal, and non scientific poll were running, but its one of the fun things that we have in this league, and part of what makes our league the best one i've ever been in

Hughes and Daniels were acquired in previous years, were they not? The Jazz didn't make very moves I don't think.

I may be mistaken, but i thought that the Jazz added Murphy, Meyers, Daniels, and a couple of other players during the season. If i'm wrong on that I'm sorry. Regardless of that, both the Jazz and Raps had great seasons, and i'd vote them 1 and 2 probally, giving the edge to the Jazz for being champs. the Raps regular season was insane though and it looks like he'll have an even better season upcoming.
