Yes, but so far I have rad articles that said Gerald Green was thrilled the Raps didn't draft him, Channing Frye the same, etc.

Even in the Vince glory days, with the east semis - still no marquee FAs ever thought about coming.

AD wanted out - because of the metric system.  

In the Vince glory days, we had (or thought we had) a good nucleas.  In the summer of 01 we wasted all our cap on AD, JYD and Alvin.  We also pryed away Hakeem from Houston and New York.  Even though Hakeen was FAR past his prime, I think that's saying alot.  Toronto's never really been in the ideal cap situation anyways

As for Green?  What ever, he's a high school kid with the IQ of a rock.  Honestly, if you heard him talk in an interview you would know what I'm talking about.  Again, I also think its because we are a losing team without a clear direction.  LA is one of the biggest markets in the NBA, and no one wanted to play for the Clippers in the 90's.  

As for Frye?  Please, I dont want another Loren Woods, imo he was the worst pick in the draft.

In Green's defence - when I was his age (last year), and all the cameras were on me - I would have been so nervous that I wouldn't have made any sense either

So I lost Eddie Jones to the Suns. He has a 73 greed rating and he took the MLE. I offered him a 2-year deal starting at 5.4 million.  

But I got two young defensive minded swing men with A potential. Lavar Piatkowski and Don Ruffin. At least one of them should have a good tc. Both should get some playing time.

With the average age on my team being 23 and having 5 players with A potential... I am really looking forward to training camp. I hope it will not be a disappointment.

This offseason has been kind to me. TC will determine how kind, however. I definately played beyond myself last season and if Murphy improves, Booth stays the same, and my rookies improve, I have a optimistic chance of a repeat. Besides Kirilenko has yet to really break out to the point where he's had a player of the week or player of the month award and only last year tallied his first triple double.
