The year after that is our first draft class... I though all the draft classes sucked

The first draft class was made by heavyreign himself.  The next two were computer built classes.  That's why I'm concerned, the computer built classes have shown a steep drop.

Yeah, 2010's fa class is nice as well.

Dang, we're already talking about 2010.  The twan/jemagee league died halfway through the 2008 draft.

I know, just having a little fun Smile
Although, the best class appears to be the players drafted right before the league started...  Next years free agent class is incredible...
This league has great longevity...  actually gives people a chance to build from scratch....

One of the reasons I wanted Pettit so bad was his loyalty/greed ratio.

Besides, I wouldn't expect pettit to be a net by that time.

I can't wait until that 2010 class.  That is the one I targeted from the beginning.  I'll have huge amounts of cap space and several solid players up for resigning while holding their bird rights.  Building from scratch was the path I took from the start....I sure hope the league holds together long enough for me to see if it works.

Pardon?!?!?!?!
Did you just say Pettit might not be a Net by that time?

I think what he said was that when he drafted Petit, he didn't expect him to be with the Nets for 4 years.

Deng (pun intended), look at next years FA class:

Hoffa
Stro
Dwight Howard
Dirk
Deng
Pierce
Childress
Livingston
Gordon
Billups
Nelson

Wonder how many will actually hit the market.  But that's probably the best class we've seen.

Hehe... Gordon just bought a beautiful mansion up in the hills. He said he wants to finish his career as a clipper.
Funny thing... Livingston is spending time in LA with Gordon this summer. They are still friends and Livingston was talking about returning to the clippers to play with his best friend again...

I'm right there with you guys trying to get a starter with the MLE.

Good thing is I have a higher win ratings than most of you Smile

Maybe you should limit the number of MLE and LLE offers a GM is allowed to make...  Would make it easier for you, and might make some folks be a little more discerning as to whom they offer contracts...
10 MLE offers for one team seems ridiculous...

Last year I sent in 1 MLE offer...  Only one player I truly felt would help my team that was attainable.
I ended up cutting then player I eventually signed anyway, since they could not come close to breaking my rotation, and cannot be traded.

This year, 3 MLE offers...
