Very, VERY happy with A.J. Dial.  He'll step in and be my first PF/SF off the bench.  Hoping to get him 20 mpg.

At this stage of the draft, I usually don't worry about potential.  A guy with any potential at this point is a stiff to start off, and if the potential is wrong, you have a guy who will always be a stiff.  I want a guy who can contribute, always contribute, and if potential is wrong then he could become something special.

With a B/C offensive rating, he could give me 10 ppg off the bench.  C- handling means he can be comptetent with the rock.  B- defense isn't terrible, and he's a competent rebounder.

Damnit. Can't believe Nets snagged Dial right before me. He is a mega steal. Bokyins ratings exactly, but just a difference of potential. And that's a difference of 30 picks...Damn. At least I got Wooden. He is one of the top 5 point guards of this class, overall ratings-wise. I was debating whether to put him or Molina as 2nd on my sheet. Looks like it actually would have mattered...

Dail was ranked 3rd or 4th on my list for the 16 PICK.

Thats an amazing steal.

Yeah, I know Smile

I rate the entire draft class on "Ready to Contribute" (value of all categories, not including potential, with weighted attributes depending on position.

Boykins and Dial were tied at 7.  There was no way he was slipping past me (even though he doesn't fill a position of need).  But he'll give me a dimension in the frontcourt (outside shooting) I've been sorely lacking.

Oddly, I had it down from him and another guy.  And that other guy's still on the board.

Dial was the guy I wanted at 26.  I was afraid I might lose him trading down.  Thank god I didn't.

Wish we had that 3rd year thing in place now, lol.  I'd be activating that now.  In fact, in 2 years I might be kicking myself for trading down.  Even though I wanted 10+ million in cap room this year, it may have been smarter just to give him that guaranteed 4 years and lose that 1.5 million in free agency this period.

Dial was my second choice...I needed a backup PG, and Perry gives me a solid defensive option.

Quick question...why is Perry not on my team page?  Did every team not upload totally?  Just curious.

Randy Molina is a nice pickup by the Jazz here. Have no idea why he dropped so far. He could be a 10-10 guy.

I have a few tough choices coming at me with the 12th pick. Do I take BPA or fill a need? There are 4, maybe 5 players that I really, really like.

I liked the Molina choice...  he was tops on my list in the 2nd round.  He has real ability to play SF, with that C+ outside...  To go along with good defense and decent rebounding...

I am very pleased with Molina for this late in the draft overall this draft I picked up Gregory Shabinger, Skyler Murray, and Randy Molina, I'm very content and filled some holes for the time being, better yet I'm all set to have an awesome draft next season which will hopefully be stronger. It'll be important for me to improve in training camp. It's going to be a slow offseason until then it seems while I wait, but I still think this team will continue to pay dividends as long as Booth doesn't get worse which is my biggest worry as he took a pay cut and came off of a remarkable 1st season as a starting C.
