Well, the good thing is I will have House back after 4 more days.
I think he will be inserted back into the starting lineup, with Lavar first off the bench.
I expect a good, long series from the Pacers.
Foster will not be able to contain Yao, but Mt. Mutumbo will probably do a good job off the bench, or as the starter.
We'll see how good Mihm plays O'Neal. I think I can live with O'neal getting his 23 and 11.
It will be interesting to see if Artest can handle Peja. Marion couldn't stop Peja, and Marion is a A+ defender, while Artest is a A. Peja has 3 inches on Artest too.
Redd will get his, no doubt.
Fisher may be able to slow Baron, but he is not a threat on offense.
Basically, I think the series will come down to defence. I have a slight edge on oPPG, but my PPG is about 3 points higher than the Pacers, and that could be a difference maker.
The season series wnet 4-0 Raptors.
I'm pretty confident. More confident than I was with the Hornets and the Magic. We'll see. I'm clearly the best team left, but when was the last time a number 1 seed won a SSBA Championship?

You make it seem like the W was my best game. Instead it was my worst shooting game. My shooting percentages in this series was not as bad as you may think. The team shot well, also from 3 point land and free throws. I did not analize the whole series yet though.
I should congratulate the Jazz. To be honest, I thought I would win this series. I should have dominated their frontcourt, but I had my offense on balanced. So maybe I should have gone inside more. Oh well...
Sorry for the misunderstanding, I know that you shot close to 45%. You lost that series with Gordon - who shot GREAT but not enough - averaging 6 TOs per game (and with just 3 in the W, you can guess the TOs from the losses), Chandler completely MIA, Brand unable to expose Murphy and your whole team never finding an answer for the offense of Hughes and Kiri. I'm not experienced enough to see what could have run better, but I picked the Jazz to win even though you have the better and more balanced team on paper. The had your number during the season as well, so maybe their holes haven't been exposed enough ... |

Well, losing big during the season is usually an alarm sign to make something completely different, but with no one but Benny available for the point it's hard and since Ben is definitely no great PG, I might have to make an offer to you.

Now you know why YOU lost, guess there's no one else too blame. Eh, we'll see. Yes, I took Billups out of the game offensively, but with an outside focus no way Dalembert gets 15/game at a high percentage, and I don't think the two of them (Emeka and Dalembert) combine for 37 pts and 25 rebounds a night. I lost the series because of free throws. Inside focus may or may not have been the wrong move, but I'm not 100% sure either way. |

Billups had 10.2 apg and 3.7 topg. TO's were high, but not unbearable. and the a/to ratio was acceptable.
And we were dead even on to's in the series, so that certainly didn't cost me the series.

yes but he did have 12 TO's in two games combined, and you lost all 2 of them. specially decisive 6th game, he had 7...

Yep. Same thought. And though Gordon may not seem to be a great pg. He sure played like one this season! Good luch to you too next year. Next year's finals: Clippers - Nets. Allthough I should only make it until the WCF next season. 1st season: no playoffs 2nd season: first round 3rd season: second round Funny huh?! |
