Kirilenko with All-League 2nd Team and All-Defensive 1st Team

Beardslee with All-Rookie 2nd Team

Didn't finish the season out like I would have hoped, but still feel confident for my matchup in the playoffs

another great sim for me. I went 8-1.

but damn Woods is injured.

anyway, Dwight seems to be playing inspired ball against the Knicks.

He has 26pts. Kidd also had a triple-double against the Knicks with 20,10,11

Diop another impressive sim. He had a 15rebound performance against the Knicks. Next sim he followed it up with 17boards.

I had 6 players in double figured against the Pistons.

Kidd with 30. Cat with 23, Ray with 22, Woods with 16 along with Dwight. And Diop with a surprising 10pts.

Al Harrington stepped up huge. He had 16 and 11 against the Rockets is just 25minutes of action.

My only lost to the Hornets.. Dwight has 22 and 11. But Loren Woods apparently had 9pts 14 rebounds a 4blocks.

Diop again with a wonderful sim, pulled down 17rebounds. While Dwight dominated downlow with 26 and 11 against the Hawks.

This time around, against the Hornets I beat him with Diop garnering 4pts 16rebounds and 5blocks.

Woods wasn't able to play then and whole round 1. damn.. Very Happy but JYD brought down 7boards in just 14minutes of action as a C.

Diop again with a 14rebound performance to end the season. Very Happy

oh, and I finished my sim with a 32-9 Home record Very Happy

So the Celtics season comes to a close on a high note, with some goals reached, some not:

Road wins over playoff bound Jazz and Pacers let me SMILE  Very Happy

"Only" going 2-2 this sim leaves me in last place overall, 1 game back of the Spurs (who, btw, set the record with a 16-loss streak)

My road record of 10-31 beats my home record of 9-32, which I think is not really typical for a young team.

Jorge Strong rightfully making all-rookie 1st team, as the lowest draft pick this year no less (and if you never heard of the #21 pick, he averaged 10/6 with 1stl and 1blk while holding someone like Jermaine O'Neal to 17ppg TWICE in the last ten games, in the other 8 games JO averaged 31ppg)

And speaking of the Pacers, they won their 4 final games, dropping their (= my) draft position down about 5 spots ! Crying or Very sad

A more detailed season review will follow soon ...

Can't do it until monday.  I don't get their decisions until I advance the sim until the playoffs.  But once I do that, I can't change IL's.  So I can't do that until Sunday.

Cavs end the season with a solid 4-2 sim. Miss out on the playoffs, and I'm looking forward to next year...Lol, way to go Bulls for finishin out, umm, strongly, to get the higher pick.

 Rolling Eyes

Yeah, forgetting to set DC + no Mercer + no Traylor = not many wins

I've had frikin injury problems all year, I've probably had the most unlucky season in the SSBA so far.  Now with Mercer out 90 days I'm even more screwed.  Whats the carry over in terms of days for the offseason Nets?  If Mercer is out for 85 more days, how many will he be out when next season starts.

I just ran a fake sim to the first day of next season, and mercer is available on day 1.

Man, Changing your focus and pace really does affect your gameplan a ton.

On this sim (very fast setting, outside focus):
I scored 104.6 ppg on 46.1% shooting.  Made 7.4 three's/game on 48.7%.  All of those would have been league highs if done over a season.

My opponents only scored 92.4 ppg on 39.4% shooting.  Won the rebounding battle by 4 per game.

Pettit and Billups were huge beneficiaries.
Pettit = 29.6 ppg on 52% shooting.  4.2 threes made a game on 56.8% shooting.
Billups = 23.2 ppg on 52.8% shooting.  2.8 threes/game on 53.8% shooting.  5.8 assists to 2.2 turns.

Okafor took the biggest hit.  He only got 11.6 shots/game as the 2nd option (averaged 18.5 per game on the season).  There were 2 games this sim he took less than 10 shots/game.  There were only 2 games in the prior 77 that that happened. as such, only scored 13.2 ppg.  Did grab 13.8 boards/game and block 2.4 shots/game (with 1.6 steals/game) and 2.6 assists/game.

Dalembert gave his typical 11 pt, 11 rebound with 4.6 blocks/game performance.
