And the sim is tomorrow, like the raptors said.

all things posted by the time I sim will take affect before the sim, like's it's always been.  And positional changes have no effect on one's play, it only shows you their ratings for the time they play that position.

i'm little bit confused. how you mean it has no effect? aren't the ratings indicator of how good the player is?

Putting a guy in another position on the depth chart has an effect on their play.  Whether or not you post to change their position, and whehter or not I process it on the game, has no effect.  Posting in the Positional Changes forum only shows you how well they will play when moving to another position.  But whether or not you post it, and I process it, won't affect how they play.

Actually, looking back on that draft...
There are only 2 players that would be taken ahead of Tanner, imo.
Pettit and Mercer.  Ferry is also a possibility, but not a guarantee.
Trent Kundla has gotten quite good at pick 22...  But, looking at his production, and not his abilities, Tanner was a good pick...

1 - Atlanta Hawks - Tanner Houbregs
2 - New Jersey Nets - Garrett Pettit
3 - Detroit Pistons - Oscar Ferry
4 - Chicago Bulls - Emmanuel Griffin
5 - Indiana Pacers - Bob Diddle
6 - Toronto Raptors - Lorenzo Ellis
7 - San Antonio Spurs - Kyle Hobson
8 - Chicago Bulls - Mason Mercer
9 - Cleveland Cavaliers - Alvin Schenk
10 - Detroit Pistons - Ethan Terpening

Check out Lebron's defense this last sim...
The Mavs played ten games... in those ten games, 6 of the starting shooting guards shot over 50% against Lebron   Shocked

he sure has not earned that defensive rating, except in steals.

Nets and GoldenState, you are both right, Tanner has been a very solid center, his defensive stats are amazing and he usually holds most centers in check except Yao and Emeka...the only thing is I and maybe some of you anticipated him being A/A/B+ instead he's B/A-/C....he's still a very solid center but w/Petit, Mercer, Ferry and maybe Griffin it's very tough to say he earned his #1 pick..those TC's hurt everyone's thought of him but he's still a premiere defensive center and a very nice 3rd option when he doesn't take too many shots....think if he improved like I thought...that's 30/15/4 territory, he could have been a beast

Oh, there's no doubt he's been a huge disappointment.  I thought he would have been at least an A- inside, A defense and B rebounder.  With C+ outside shooting, that should be 25/12/3 at least.

But hey, if you want to give up on him, i'll take him Smile

haha, I was extremely close to giving up on him after this last TC, but now there's only a short list of centers I'd rather have:  Yao, Emeka, Araujo, Shaq and Sammy...Tanner's size w/his decent ratings are good...and something that's impressed me is that his #'s have actually got better since I went to a fast pace which must mean he can run a little bit

True...  Pettit is the true gem of that class, and Ferry is the offensive equivalent of Tanner.  Griffin is all-around very good, but not great at anything yet.
But, do the draft over, and he would still be picked between 3-5, imo...
Actually, next year is the third year of that draft class, the year when you typically see how good the class truly was...
looking forward to seeing how all three draft classes improve in the next TC...
